Kabaddi Champions Indian Team Shabby Treatment? Is It Fair?

Yesterday, I was shocked to read online about shabby treatment that was meted out to Kabaddi Champions Indian Team which had just won World Cup! Both Men and Women Teams had won the tournament and made India proud. But in cricket crazy nation, Kabaddi players as usual were let down by our officials and federation who even didn't bother to provide conveyance for players to reach their homes. Also, players hotel bills were not payed on time, leading to harassment and embarrassment for the not-so-rich players. Do you think players who bring laurels to their nation deserve such humiliation? And, then if India is not a sporting powerhouse like China today can one blame our players? Do share your views. Have a good day, Thanks.

This is really a sad story and the sports association need to be punished for this. Irrespective of sports any sportsperson who wins laurels for the country needs to be honored. I do not think this is acceptable at all. Cheers! Ram

Quite right! It is indeed shocking and sad. No one deserves to be treated such shabbily and not least our sporting heroes who go through such hardship and win laurels for our country. Thanks for sharing your views my friend. Cheers:)
