when i was a kid , i usually wished that i have should been born in other countries or was brought up in other countries cause i know that other countries look better and are beter place to live at. but now i am an adult, i don't wish any more actually to live in other countries. having lived my life in here for a long time already, i know that i can still live happily in my own country despite the economic difficulty the country had been facing since i was young.

If i have a chance, i'd like also to give it a try to go to the other countries and try to see what is life will be there, to look around, to see all nature and culture that they have. As long as i can and i need to. But i think when i get old and sick and alone, i'd like to still come home when my heart and my roots are come from, there is no better place than home and my own country is my home.

I actually didn't want to live in other countries until I was an adult. I am starting to feel like a prisoner in my own country now. My brother married a woman from Taiwan, but I don't think I would want to live there. I lived in China for most of three years while teaching English there, but I wouldn't want to deal with their medical system. I might want to live in Thailand as I spent a number of my school breaks there and I really like it there. Thanks for bringing up the topic.

My dream is to travel around the world. Of course my country is always in my heart but get to know and to live in other country is a great chance too. But I will not choose to stay abroad for a long time as my own country is better and I love my country so much. Plus we know our country very well. Anyway it's a good opportunity to live abroad as it will give us a new experience and we could learn many things about other people culture.(^^)

Now that I've gotten a bit older, I often think about what it would be like to live in another country. It's also a scary thought leaving what's known and comfortable.

Sometimes the grass looks greener on the other side. But once you get there you see its all the same. Problems such as economic difficulty are all over the wold. At least if we are with family it makes it all a little better.

It's not my dream to live more in other countries than my beloved country. I love to be here in my country. There's no place like home, my friend... If ever I am lucky enough to work in other country. Not mean that I will spend my life there. I just work there to make a good living. If save enough to put a business in my own country. I go back and never go to work abroad anymore to spend more my life in my Mother Land where I was born... I really love to live here in my country

Hello I also think so. Own country is own country. Other country will not gave peace which own country can. It is good to visit some other countries for some time but for ever leaving my country is impossible for me. I love my country and peoples.

I would like to live in another country where the weather is not too hot or too cold. In my country there are extreme seasons, hot summer and very cold winters, and I don't like it. I would like to live in a country where the temperature is about 25-30 Celsius degrees during the day and no less than 5 Celsius degrees at night. But I believe I'm too old to move altogether in another country. Maybe I'll have the occasion to live temporarily when the cold season is here.

yes my friend, i too liked to be in other countries when i was young. It always looked that other country is better than my country. But as the time passes on, i come to know that living in their own country is better than living in other countries.

i think, i have ever feel something like that,, but when i was 9 years old, because i saw on tv, other countries have more facilities and look better than my country exactly. but now, after i understand my country more, i know that my country is so rich and better, in my country, there are so much natural resources that could be as source of state income. my country also have many beautiful places that i can enjoy without any permission, it is free. i don't need to make a visa to other country for spending my holiday time, just in my country. im proud of my country, beloved country, Indonesia

I was and am never fascinated to uproot myself from a country that has given me a lot of fond memories and peace that many worn torn countries can only dream off. This is the country that I was born and wish to be buried. No matter how it rains gold in other countries I would never leave my beloved land of my birth.

When I was younger, I longed to be in any other country other than my own here in the U.K. I had dreams of wide open plains and living way out in the wilds of different countries I used to read about in books and see in pictures.. I have been to many different countries both working and on vacation, so I guess you could say that my desire to get away from my own country is not so intense these days - in fact I quite like living in my own country, even though times have been hard for the past few years. Ideally, I would like to win the lottery, then I could choose where to live. Proably somewhere with lots of sun in our winter, and then come back here to the UK in summer, just to keep in touch with my family. Mind you, if I had a big win, I could invite my friends and family to come stay with me wherever I am living. _Derek

As for me I've always believed that there is no place like home so I certainly will not enjoy living in other country. In fact I have not even thought of living in foreign land. I am so contented with my life in my own native land and I will never ever migrate to another.

I moved to this country 39 years ago and I Am happy...of course I AM...but I missed so much and even my children they would never know what is like to have a grandma, a grandpa, cousins, nieces, unties, uncles, that hurt my heart the most! of course today they communicate on the internet and they are learning to know each other which is a good thing!...but if I had a choice to go back? well I would never leave my country to live any were else.

hi there hotsummer, when i was a child, i already dreamed of living in the United States of America. as i always tell this lines to myself "i will do my best to go America". but as time goes by and because we don't have the much money to spend so i was not able to hit that aim. until i have grew old. and now, as much as i want to go to that country, i cannot do that as easy as 1-2-3. hence, now a days, going out is not like before. thus, if you will go out from this country where i lived, there will be so much papers you would need to present when leaving out. and i find it absurd why those procedures are still needed. nonetheless, i still want to leave out from this country where i lived at the moment and have my living in other country very very soon.

I was very obsessed to go to other country. I have the thought before. Now, I changed up my mind for some reasons. I found out that I could live happily in my country other than that I got a good job, so why would I want to go to other countries. To live abroad is little possibilities, but to travel. Ya, I would like to go out of my country someday. I was already excited with my job and my country as well.
