Kerala is the southern most state in India and also where I live. There are others also here in my lot from Kerala. Well, the burning issue is that we are facing extinction any second, because of an old dam that was built 165 years ago and now disintegrating slowly after a series of earthquakes, in MULLAPERIYAAR may collapse. It is a live WATER BOMB. The after effects of dam break is that human casualties will be so huge that the world has never seen before. if the dam water level is lowered, the calamity can be averted but it is not being done because of a neighboring state's arrogance and ego issues over water. The Kerala govt, is willing to build a new dam, but that is also being held up in red tape because of the ego of others. I am writing this to get your attention to this issue as it is being buried by others in national news. if such a thing happens, I will be one of the first to vanish because I live near the river. Please consider this as serious and spread the word so that someone takes notice.

Media are spreading controversial statement on this issue. Media in Tamil Nadu are telling that there is no danger in the dam. All the news channels in Tamil Nadu say that the Expert Committee have also told that there is no risk to the dam. We can't believe either the media news of Kerala or Tamil Nadu. Unless if any neutral channel reveals what's going on, we may not know the real position. The national parties are taking different stands in both states. I would also support if the dam is in real danger. Otherwise if it is just faked news, I feel very bad.
