Tell me how many money can collect for this program and if only 1000rs. per house also collect means at least 100000 lakhs money collected. On high demand and requests from our fans and viewers I want invite this Jagat Guru Radhakrishnji maharaj. He is appeared mostly in SANSKAR Channel. But when I told the women for collection she told me no we cant do it. No money we have but I know all women are rich women and more money and property they had. But why people not understand money will not live with you for long life she may be jump any time in anybody's house. I want only 1000 rs. per house.

hi sureharathi thats the way with lots of p eople , they are all for some program even a religious one but when asked to actuaqlly spend money on it, all of a sudden they do not have any moneyl Human nature sometimes is not all fun and games at all. Odd how when you talked to them they are suddenly all broke.Sad but one aspect of human nature not much fun there. So I take it they want the program but for free. You just cannot get something like that thats really good without spending money, sad they did not realize that and want to use money for a good cause. You are right, you cannot take your money with you when you depart this life for heaven.

Surekhaji: I saw the link provided. It is good. Maharjji sings well and the group is also singing-- He is asking them to sing loudly. Regarding payment of money -- I am happy you are willing to give that much but even in your own family some may not be willing to give for such purposes.

Surekha: A different type of topic for discussion started by you. I also attend religious functions which are not charged. I may be willing to pay maximum of Rs.100 ($2) towards donations for such purposes. You are asking Rs.1000 that means $20. Not all of us will give happily. It is because all of us have many such place we give. When is Radhakrishna Maharaj program telecast in sanskar tv.? (timings)

I agree.. if I can spare that kind of money, I would rather give it for educating a poor child, or feeding a mentally challenged person. I would still be serving god because Shri Krishanji said - manav seva is madhav seva. Right? I guess, even I wouldnt be willing.

Vandana : Yes priorities differ from person to person. You are right serving mankind is also precious one. Also giving for the education of a poor child is also good. At the same time we must allocate some amount for religious activities so that people who take religions forward will also find some encouragement. Let not Surekha think we are against religious activities -- Traditionally religion has been taken care of by the highly rich people and others we take part and contribute only a mite towards it.

You have to take money from 1000 people to get 1 million rupees(10 lakhs) and for sure you have to explain them all the plain & coast.by the way...10 lakhs rupees required to invite him ? If I were them..I would have said straight No.Because its not worth at all.Word of mankind/God should be spread without any money involving it and this so called Saint charges big grands to spread mankind words..They are greedy soul and not the real monk..it has become trend to cheat innocent people in the name of God..all this so called Monk charges high amount of fees and sell passes to take part in their ceremony..If you look into old history..the monk used to walk around place to place spreading mankind/God words without hoping anything in return..& this new era saints just want money for everything...Just let him be on Sanskar channel..lolz If he is real saint he should visit with a invite and should not charge money. I am Hindu Brahmin and I know my religion much better then this so called guru/saints who does blah blah on Tv shows by reading stories written/mentioned by our old mere monks.

Word of mankind/God should be spread without any money involving it - I have to agree to that. However, there are traveling and stay costs. Those should be recoverable.

There is one more thing..what Ms.surekharathi wanted probably was a large scale meeting, implying hiring a large hall. That, other arrangements, and food for all concerned may have added to the cost.

I definitely would have refused to pay my hard earned money and that too a sum like Rs 1000 for any Guru or God man.I feel it is a waste , since he is already there on the TV and making lots of money. I would rather buy some sweets and fruits with that money and distribute it to the children in an orphanage ...

Another thing with these discourses is - each one of us relates to them differently at different point of time. So if you buy a CD and watch it once, you will like it a lot. A few weeks later you sit with your friends and watch it again, you will find it average. It is not only the novelty, it is also the situation that we are in at that point of time that makes us relate to what is being uttered. I am not saying that this guruji is not good, because he is. Nevertheless, we cant say that everybody finds the discourse to be 100 percent good. There might be a few who may not have found it to be that good and they just said yes - herd mentality. It is natural then that they are not happy giving their monies. If Ms. Rathi decides to ask them again, they would hesitate to say no. However, they would criticise her behind her back for not understanding them. I think how a person spends his or her monies is a personal thing. We cant dictate that unless they start pushing their responsibilities on us.

Oh my friend, those women in your are so pretentious. They are rich , yet they cannot contribute for a cause they themselves want to have. Or maybe , they are just social climbers , meaning poor people pretending to be rich, so they can mingle with rich people and be friends with them.

Yes those women are able to give the money because they are rich but I observe rich person is more kanjus means not leave the money from their hand. But poor people always ready according to their capacity.

maybe 1000 rs is too big for them. How much is it in terms of dollars? I don't know much about the value of your money. Why not ask them for voluntary contribution, some might give more than 1000. In our place, we also solicit money but it is voluntary only, they have to give whatever amount they can.

It around $20-22 but currency value is totally different...like branded jeans in US coast around anywhere $75+ and we can get here for $20-40. anyways..a Hindu Monk should not charge money to spread mankind words that's against Hindu religion and these day it has became a Multi Million dollar business here.

I am not forcing those people who are not able to give this but I am saying those people who are able and they have more money means they are rich they can give this money. 1000rs. means only 20 dollar.

Aw..that is so personal.. Just like not everybody gets a first rank in school, people's feelings towards god too vary. You like that guruji's speech, that is good for you. But another person may be having a more serious problem and may want to handle it realistically, like going to another country and getting operated. Its personal choice. We do need to be free from worries to concentrate on god. We do need to feel fulfilled in some way to feel thankful to god and realize his goodness. Most people go to temples when they need something from god, or when they are distressed. I agree that we should go to god at those moments too. But no amount of preaching at that point of time is going to get into our head because our problem seems to be of gigantic proportions. So listening to any preacher should essentially be when all duties are fulfilled, and now we have time for god like we have time for television. So when they are not willing to contribute, they are still entangled in their problems. I dont say you dont have any. I just say that in their minds their problems are too large, and perhaps they do not like the same guruji as you as much as you. Surely, they have a right to do what they want to do with their monies.

I really don't know. Most collections are for activities of a certain religion. Many don't subscribe to religion, but believes in God. You can't blame some for not giving the money. They might just want to spend their own money helping others rather than giving it to some religious folk which might not use them for the purpose that they want. Much like corruption in the public office or government. Much like giving alms or money to the street beggars. People nowadays wants to make sure that where their money will go and for what purpose it will be used that's why many are hesitant to give money out. Just my thoughts and opinion.
