The difference between living for today and living for today without any worries

So many people have told me to lighten up and live a little cause I'm always thinking about business. And so many people have heard me say time and again, "you live a little, I'll just keep on working." There's a difference between living for today and living for today without any worries. If you're constantly out there partying and then working in the same sad job to earn back what you frittered away in the weekend then maybe something in you should change. I'm not against partying. I'm against not having money in my pocket. I'm against poverty. I'm so against it that I will keep working to make sure it never gets me. Live for today but always make sure you have enough for the rest of the month or year.

Maybe you have been in many situations when you didn't have enough money but seems like you need to relax more and enjoy your life more. Money are important but they aren't the most important thing. And there is no point in making lots of money if you don't enjoy the things you buy with them. You can still make money and do your work well but relax and have fun in the rest time.If you work all the time and stress about money all the time you will be trapped in the situation and concentrate only on money and let your life pass you by. Have fun and happy earning! :)

nice one. I agree on the fact that having business in mind all the time is really no good for anyone. Not only that you won't be able to enjoy the pleasure of life but you may also have health problems because of the accumulated tense, pressure and emotion.

work is relative. work for me is maximum gain with minimum effort. leveraging is the key to success and here i am mylotting while some f my friends are doing work for me. maybe we have different definitions when it comes to work and gaining success

Being able to realize the importance of having money in you pocket is a good thing. he same thing does happens to me when people of my age choose to spend their weekend in karaoke box, bistro etc which basically spent almost every penny they had. I would rather save the money up in case of an emergency or spend a quarter of my money on leisure activities.

good for you. general rule of thumb is this spend only 10% of what you have in your bank for things you only want. work hard so that you won't have to worry about your future.

There is a fine line between workaholic and living for today. I think immature, self involved people have to do what entertains them and feeds them. If that means not storing up for a rainy day or for old age then they will pay the price when the time comes. Tell them to mind their own business.

Hi Chipesterkhan, that is a very wise move. For us Chinese, most of us have the idea of keeping wealth for the long term. Some parents even think about leaving inheritance to the grandchildren or great-grandchildren. Even when we start working, we start to plan about retirement. That accounts for the high household saving rate in China. I think some people in other culture just do not have such thinking.

For me it is the same because no will live for today that no worries of life because the ruler of this world is Satan then no happiness will gave us in our life.
