Criterion for defining success in life

Can you throw some light as to what could be the probable criteria for determining success in the life ? Will it be Money,family,friends,materialistic gains or spiritual achievements ?Who shall decide whether I am successful in my own life ? Is it my own view or some one else's assessment ? will it be derived through comparison with others or through absolute reasoning ?? Let us have some good debate on this.

hello there.for me, success is totally individual in nature, meaning to say i am the only one who can gauge if i am already successful or not. i can say i am successful if i am already contented with anything that life has to offer me. i will only be contented if i have my own decent home, a job that pays more than enough to suffice me and my family's needs, and a family that i can call my own.
