facebook chat is constantly messing up now, anyone notice that?

Facebook chat is always messing up now, and it's getting annoying. First I could bypass it by just using the messaging system, but now I've had to resort to going to meebo and using FB chat through there. I think when they started doing that sending the fb im's to messages if your not on the tab at that time, has made it error.
It's annoying! Especially when you just want to chat with someone for a few minutes, or if you think they're ignoring you but it's just the stupid fb chat.
Anyone else want to strangle the fb techs?

I'm not really having that problem... I used to have chat problems on facebook all the time, but lately not so much! For me, chatting on facebook has definitely become better! The only thing that annoys me now, is when you send a private message to someone, or to multiple people, it turns into a chat if they're online. It's weird, and I don't always like it because sometimes I just want an answer to my message, but I don't want to start an actual conversation.

Hmm Yeah I can understand that annoyance. I don't know what's going on with facebook chat for me, maybe soon it will fix itself. Usually if I don't want to talk to someone, but want to send a message to them I send the message then get off of facebook for a little bit atleast.
I've not talked to you in quite sometime. How are you?

Well I haveno't noticed it on chat as I don't do chat, but I do the game Words with Friends...and they did a change on the game about 2 weeks ago and now...I log into FB just fine and read posts etc, but when go to open this game...it freezes. only way I can fix it is to C+alt+del....and do that twice and on the third time, it will come up right. Happens every time I open the game. And since there is no "notice" or anything as to if the other player has made their move, I have to open it to see! Really annoying!

Well luckily the chat's working for me again. I ain't opened WWF in a few weeks so I don't know if it'd do the same for me. I'd report it as that gets to be annoying!

I have used their chat before but it has been a long time. I usually use their private messaging there but it has been messing up lately too.

i get alot of technical difficulty messages lately. ususally when i do that i cant see certain friends (ones i was just talking to) online...they can see me but i cant see them. or i send a private message and it double or triple sends...or doesnt send at all

Yeah, the chat is totally lame. Another thing that annoys me is that a lot of my apps are working now. Really wish they would fix that.

There are some apps that seem to be slow for me as well, it's annoying. I hate that they keep updating the plugs and whatever and the computer I use now I can't do crap on, Gotta get myself a new one.
However, my computer isn't the reason for the chat being so darn glitchy! It's been stuck in "error" mode all morning.

got the same feeling here.. i am so annoyed and pissed with facebook right now.. my chat box is such a mess.. and my friends keep telling me that i am not appearing online on chat.. i like the old facebook chat.. the upgrade they did is a failure.. it doesn't work so well for the users.. i have been reading a lot of complains about this as well..

Yeah! it wont' show someone online or it will for a few minutes and that's it. Then when you're trying to talk it says they're typing and typing nad typing but ten minutes later you check your message folder and all they said was "lol" or they're left hanging afer asking you a question!
Grr! It's annoying.

I haven't had any problems with Facebook's chat. I use it nearly every day. I can choose someone from the side list or go to them in the friends list and pick up there. Are you still having the problem?
