How many children did you have to buy for? It seems for some back to school is starting to rival Christmas, What is your opinion.

I just have one child to buy for and spent less about $80 on uniforms and supplies. My son is in first grade, so they don't have a huge supply list. I think his Kindergarten and Pre-K lists were bigger than the one this year. He is at a new school this year, I guess they require fewer supplies.
