Hi everyone... Its my problem and i think only female mylotters can help me.... Today... 11:30 AM... my sister (only one sibling of mine and got married on last 13 December, 2010) called my mom over phone..... I asked my mom "what happen?".... mom told "she is ill"... i got nervous... why? what happened?... Mom told " she is suffering from urinal problem"... 10 minutes over. Mom was almost whispering with my sister over phone.... at that time i was searching something on kitchen where mom was attending the call... mom told " why you are following me?".... i told "nothing, just seeking an apple"...I asked mom about sister where as she was over phone with sis.... "any problem mom?"... mom laughed "nothing"... "then how she is ill?".... "nothing, just a minor issue". I think i am about to be an uncle, am i wrong? My mom laughed on my sister's illness, but how can she? am i wrong here? yeah, yeah, yeah.... hurrraaahhh... if i am about to be an uncle, then i am the happiest guy ever. You females better know? please relief me. Thanks in advance

Hai Shibham... If you are going to be an uncle, Congratulations...I am not that much aged to recognize such signs...I think that it may be because of pregnancy...Because your mom told that that's related to some urinal problem...The checking of pregnancy is doing by urinary checking and your mom laughed on that time...The cause to hide that from you will be because they will planned to tell you after checking...So be happy...There is also same chance for some disease...You can call her directly and talk to her...She will say you the truth....If your sister have any problem on this time, You should help her to consult a doctor...Thank you

Shibham! If you are going to become an uncle it is good news.But I am not too sure of that. THere is also a probablility of your mother having laughed for some other reason and that is embarrassment at sharing some info with you. Your sister's illness is not something major but it is a woman's problem that you cannot share with her.She cannot convey whatever your sister confided in her mother.So, you just need to curb your curiosity for two more months and wait to get the news.

That is a good photograph. Just wait for two more months and the cat will be out of the bag. Your mother might have laughed for a reason which I can guess but it is a woman's problem and cannot be shared with you.

hi shibham either your sister called your mom to tell her her pregnancy urine test was positive meaning you are going to be an Uncle or else she has a UtI which is a urinary tract infection which takes a lot of antibiotics to clear up and makes you feel ill.'I hope its the pregnancy test and I will congratulate you on becoming an Uncle soon. but if its a urinary tract infection she is one sick young lady who is going to have to take antibiotics. let us know if your mom tells you you are becoming an Uncle so I can send some hugs to you.

That is what I was thinking Hatley, because his mom said she was ill, having a baby is not an illness, so she probably has a minor infection, which is normal for some women...

Hi Hatley.... I think she had not that infection that you have mentioned. Last night she attended a marriage with her MIL when i talked to her over phone. That call told me that there is nothing serious and both are hiding something from me. @ carmel. Hope you have understood.

Illness can be cure by early detection and right medication. Try to consult at the OB Gynecologist they are expert to see about the organs of female. This is not so big problem as long as you go earlier under the medication.

Hiya shibs, She is really beautiful shibs I hope she is expecting a Baby maybe your Mom is a bit cautious as she too has suffered losses like I have so you tend to be more cautious about things like that as it is probably at a very early stage obviously. If your Mom is smiling I hardly think it is Cystitis that is a urinary infection that is quite annoying and takes time to get rid of so I am betting for the other. I feel sure it is the first thing I mentioned a pregnancy and I hope it is you have a lovely Sister in face and in soul she is very kind hearted and it shows.xxx Catch you later and congrats to you anyway. Don´t get too impatient you have another 7 months to wait lol.xxx

Thanks for the comments on my sis. She is more beautiful than me, i know. I am also guessing the same. My mom's smile and reaction were enough to indicate it. 7 months? nope, if its true.

Hiya shibs, Well you have a nice face too lol that is a lovely Photo one to cherish. I don´t have one like that at all. Could it be that its six months you have to wait or maybe only five? As first time Ladies don´t start to get really heavy to put it politely until they are about five months in the pregnancy as well. I did not have to wear any loose clothes till I was about five months gone or more then I had to stop wearing Jeans. Oh congrats to the Dad as well I forgot and the Uncle and the Grandmas and the Granddads. For sure if your Mom is smiling there has to be a very good reason and I really hope that it is that one.xxx

I don't know if saying your sister is ill means she is having a baby is how men are told this in your country, because here having a baby is not an illness. She could have a minor infection, which is normal for some women, but if she is having a baby, let us know so we can congratulate you...

Theres no way for anyone of us to know whats up with your sister anymore than you do. Urinal problem. Sounds more to me like a urinary infection. Then again dont they do female circumsions there? That also causes problems. But most likely sound like a urinary infection to me. Being pregnant is not a illness. I dont think they would be hiding that.

It could be just a minor Urinary Tract Infection which is common to many people not just women but even men all because of insufficient water intake. If your sister is pregnant then she really needs to pay attention to this because she can't just take any medication. At any rate if your Mom is just laughing it off then maybe it is not a real big thing to be of your great concern. Maybe it is a very minor and manageable problem so better don't worry at all. Your mother could have panicked if this is really something serious but if she is just laughing then maybe this is just a minor thing or just a simple pregnancy issue only women should know.

Hi salonga... Minor infection, i think. But reality is that she is pregnant. I shall inform her to take water as much as she can. Most members are suggesting the same here. I guess that as you have said "just a simple pregnancy issue only women should know".

Hello shibham, I am not sure what your sister is going through. But if your mother told you that she is suffering from urinal problem it may be true, it can be that she has Urinary Tract Infection. But sometimes, UTI is connected with being pregnant. There are females who will suffer from UTI when they are pregnant, so your sister can be pregnant too. Just ask your mother the real reason, and if she is pregnant just remind her not to take any medicine, and if she has UTI, just treat it naturally, drink lots of water and if you have buko(coconut) juice there, give her a lot. Have a great day ahead of you and have fun mylotting!

Cheez man stop been so curious! may be your mum did not want to discuss this issue with you because she is shy to do so! an urinal problem can happen from any reason...like having s*x too often which may cause some distress in the female organs...specially in newly wed couples may be that is why your mum was amuse about it! I'm sure won't tell my son it happen to me too.

Hi shibham, Congratulations! There are serious pregnancy especially in the first trimester, here are some tips for your on the family way sister. I hope this could be a great helped for her. 6 Tips To Avoid Morning Sickness Due To PREGNANCY: 1. Before going to bed, eat something high in PROTEIN which will help your blood sugar stay normal, and avoid nausea. 2. Avoid FOODS and SMELLS that trigger nausea. This may vary from person to person. 3. Ginger, teas, cookies, even the spice can help preventing nausea. 4. If you are experiencing nausea throughout the day, try to SLEEP for short periods of times to avoid nausea. 5. A teaspoon of CIDER VINEGAR in a cup of warm water can be effective too. 6. Try PEANUT BUTTER or other protein snack before rising from your bed.

I am not sure about this... but if your sister is confirmed to be pregnant. I think that your mom will happily announced it to you instantly. But when she kept it with herself, maybe there is some other reason. I think you better ask your mom what is the reason she says that your sister is ill, and that if there is any problem she can tell it to you.

Hi buddy... It'll be a great news if you're going to be uncle Shibham.. But first make sure that everything's fine. I mean, why would your mother hide it from you? She would cried it out to you gleefully... Why didn't that happen? My advice is, first make sure of it before rejoicing... Take care...

Im my society, moms never disclose such issues on early stage. Any male (except hubby), no one gets the information at the beginning even the father. So, thats why i am guessing.

I am sorry to say but I don't think it was a baby they were discussing, if she is ill and having problems in that area she very ikely has a bladder infection. A bladder infection can be very painful but is very simple to get rid of. All you have to do is go to the doctor and get some antibiotics. You usually start feeling better with in a day or so after being on the medication. Men can get them too, but woman get them more often.

Maybe you are about to be an uncle. Urinary problems are common in pregnant women.. congratulations then! but she needs to have it checked with her ob-gyne so proper medications will be given for her tract infections without affecting the baby inside.

I think that your mother is either happy because your sister told her that she is pregnant or a little embarressed to discuss female problems with you. If your sister is pregnant she could experience urinary problems, because the baby puts pressure on the bladder, and makes her urinate very often. But this usually happens in the end of the pregnancy so if she just got pregnant I don't that she would experience big problems with bladder pressure now. If she is pregnant it is possible that your mother and your sister want to keep it a secret until she is sure that she is really pregnant. Maybe she has taken a home pregnancy test and wants the doctor to confirm the result before she tells the rest of the family. It is also possible that she isn't pregnant and has a bladder infection or a other bladder problem instead.
@shibham (16977)
• India
2 Dec 11
Yes, you are right. Both reasons are valid. I think both are keeping it as a secret to me and father. Usually, it happens in our society. Females never share anything about pregnancy earlier to anyone. No, i dont think that she has some infection because she was not a serious at all when i called her over phone last night even she told me not to be serious.

In my opinion, as your mother have told you that it's a "urinal problem", it is a urinary tract infection. And perhaps aside from the usual medicine maybe she is instructing her how to relieve the itch or pain she may be experiencing in her genital. I think if you will gonna be an uncle, your mother could have readily announced it as that.
@shibham (16977)

No, she has not such problem. I called her last night and she told that its normal, i asked her... is she suffering?... she said.... i am in a marriage ceremony with my MIL.... so, how it can be? No, mom will not disclose it, i know and am sure.
