Forgot to sign and date at the top. They had that part in on permanent marker, I don't know why but when I first saw it my brain didn't connect that THAT needed to be signed. In any case, Then they want rent history.. I called today and explained, they said put them down, just put "do not contact" if they have any problems with me not even bothering to put down a phone number I'm going to write "CALL ME BEFORE SENDING THIS BACK AGAIN!". I also have to put $0 in teh field for rent... some of this stuff is so pointless. I can understand the big sign and date thing, it was an information page... but still, the rest?? Come on call me lol. So going to get that done, send it back and then hope that I get a call back by March. I knew I'd forget something on that appliation! So what's new?

I usually forget something first time through also. I hope you get called by March. Nothing new here. I have a Section 8 with my daughter and we have a 3 bedroom apartment. Have been here for about fifteen years now. We started in a new two bedroom and then moved in here about ten years ago.

I applied for a one bedroom. When I talked to her and asked she said "it could be one week, or it could be six months." The way she said "one week" made me think though. I mean, why say that as section 8 does take forever, and I know it, but the other lady told me before it was a short list... sooo.. I guess my thing is that "one week" to me means it's not nearly as long but they don't want to promise anything. I'm getting other things together in the meantime.

But, if the other gal said it was a short list and this gal said a week then perhaps they can't get ahold of the other people on the list or something has or will happen to take them off the list and move you right up to the top.

I'm thinking something must be up for them to even mention the word "it could be a week it could be six months". That's what they said. I don't see why they'd say that otherwise.

I hate it when they do that crap too. If something is not applicable, then I think we should be able to just leave it blank too.

I put "call me if need be" right above where the phone numbers for the renters go. If they don't like that still then I'll have a problem with them. Hopefully I won't get it back, but rather a call back about being approved / needing to go to step 2 of the process!
