We watched it in 3D. My friends had never seen 3D before. I think the snow falling like it was right in front of you want the best 3D effect. Also the guy trying to be intimidating getting closer and closer to your face. I was surprised at the messages in the story and that it had main characters were children but the messages were more for adults. If you've ever been to France, the Eiffel Tower and the Arch of Triumph were beautiful from the clock tower. It really was a great movie if you're mechanically inclined or appreciate people who are. I'm in the appreciative type mode. So have you seen it? If you have, what did you like about it? If you haven't seen it, are you going to see it? If you're not, do you wish you could? My friends paid my way because they invited me out. It was expenstive. My husband and I usually go to see matinees so they're cheaper. We don't buy any food, drinks, or candy. Last night, I was glad I ate first. The smell of popcorn was all through theater. We only had 8 people in a huge theater.

Yes, it starts off slowly, but at one point, I was at the edge of my seat, actually at a couple of points. My friends thanked me for choosing it. So three thumbs up.

awesome... the best movie of 2011 so far is INSIDIOUS ,LIMITLESS,FASTER,RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, KILLER ELITE... but non so strong enough for an oscar best picture contender..so i presumed perhaps WAR HORSE by spielberg got a chance.. or maybe this one HUGO..by scorcese.. will watch definitely..in 3D!!!!

This one may be a little tame for you. It's not much in the action department compared to ones you list. It's more of a family movie. Take care.

I have seen some short movies in 4D, and before 1 month I have watched the Smurfs in 3D in theater, it was an amazing experience, the high quality videos and you feel like you really are living within the movie and not watching it.

What is 4D? Yes, you really feel like you're part of the movie instead of just watching it. During "up," I ducked!

Hi there, 4D Is a special small setup with normally 6 to 8 chairs that have been made for special short movies when you set in the chair and the movie start the chairs will start to movie up and down front and behind when the movie start, those movie normally runs for less than 10 min sometimes even if there is a wind in the movie you will feel the wind in your face because the room has been setup for special effects, amazing experience.

yes..4D's have two types...one that plays short movies custom made for rides..(like theme park rides..etc) where movement are simulated by hydrolicly controlled seats /theater to give a realism sense in movements ,,crash vibrations etc.. the other ..is regular movies in the cinemas ..say SPY KIDS 4 ..recently also shown in 4Ds in selected cinemas..where the viewer are watching the movie in 3D..and also given a card to scratch in according to the parts informed in the cinema screen..the card will emit smells so that the audience can smell what the actors are smelling the movie SPY KIDS 4.. iMax also have movies tailored made for their iMax theater and rides..in various theme parks..and planetarium.....

I have only seen clips of the movie. It looks like one I would enjoy. Hoping to see it next weekend, but that will depend on how long its in my area. Glad you enjoyed it.

I hope it stays long enough in your area and that you enjoy it, too. It starts out slowly, but it does a lot of background work at the beginning and in the middle, but it's worth it in the end.

I had never heard of the movie so I looked it up and watch the trailer just now. It looks like a good movie. I wouldn't mind seeing it, but it would have to wait until it comes out on DVD or something. Money to go to the movie theater is not something that I have right now. My kid always beg for popcorn and I usually give in which makes the movies cost a whole lot more A ticket just for me is around $10. Add my kids and popcorn and a soda and it would be around $45 for a movie for the 3 of us.

Yes, it costs sooo much to take a family out. It was $35 for three of us and we had no food or drinks. It's nuts. Turn around time is not very long for DVDs now. It is slow starting out, there is a lot of background info during the beginning and middle. It may work better in a theater than at home.

3-D movies are a big thing right now. They are pretty neat. I know what you mean about the popcorn and the drinks. It costs as much if not more for that than it does to see the movie. I try to do matinees too..it helps to save money. I'm glad you got to go..it's nice to get out and see a movie every now and again. The 3-D is a plus too.
