It was a shock to me when I came to know that Mithun has been selected for Australia tour but I was happy after some time thinking that someone who is failing here in India , I'm sure he will fail there as well and then at least he won't be considered after that. They had to choose one bowler among Irfan Pathan, Vinay Kumar and Mithun. What do you think about this decision, please share your point of views.

Did the two sixers he hit against Windies in the 3rd ODI help him. :) I am also as shocked as you that he has been picked up. I was hoping that it might be Irfan Pathan who might be picked for this role. Cheers! Ram

Hi Ram, Today, I got another two shocks, Sehwag's double ton and Irfan's exclusion. I don't have words to explain either of these two. Why Mithun everytime, this guy is failing everytime against a weak batting lineup and that too at home, still everytime he is given opportunity, if such regionalism goes on for some more time, I will stop watching ODI matches and watch only IPL for my favorite teams. Today, Mithun has achieved this: A Mithun 4 0 37 0 9.25 (1w)

I think that it is not a wise decesion by the selectors. As we all know that mithun is not a good baller. He face some difficulty to swing the ball and mostly he is not in a good form.t I do not know what made the selectors to take such a decision.

Thanks for your response, thewonderboy! I am trying to be optimistic but I can't. Giving a chance to Mithun is wasting a precious opportunity, they could have given this opportunity to any other youngster. e.g. Deepak Chahar because of his swinging ability and recent performance. There is no comparison between Irfan Pathan and Mithun.
