What else would you like to achieve?

I have just recently resigned from being an accountant for 23-years. I've felt I needed to try my entrepreneur side which I always wanted to do for so long. I have opened a trading store in our area and so far I am getting positive results and plan to continue doing this. But on the side, I still crave for things I still want to do which I can do alongwith being a businesswoman. I am still a neophyte in the trading business and I intend to even do my business online. The competition is very stiff but I am still trying to develop that side of my talent. I also wanted to explore web administration and hosting since I have been a senior moderator of a local social forum in the net. I dream of becoming a webmaster someday. I enjoy these 2 things right now. They make me somehow adept with the web world. How bout you guys? What else do you want to achieve or do beside what you have achieved or done?

I don't know what I have done to be recognized for such courage. I just did my share of working using my profession. I know the longevity was admirable but really it was a rewarding career and I thank you all and all my staff and bosses for appreciating. I feel elated. But piece of advice to you guys, you have to love your work and that is the key for enjoying your career.

Maybe while waiting, you could at least share to us good deeds. I'm sure Jehovah God will not mind but be pleased. God bless.

A pleasant day PalePurple, As I go along with your main topic discussion, I find your personality so courageous. That you have given up your job which you have for 23 years. And have that guts to enter into entrepreneuralship. Well, for sure you can make it as you are equipped with a lot of knowledge and expertise. Alhtough you are saying you are just still a neophyte in the field of trading. Just like you, I have also redirect my career into another level. That is entering into an entreneuralship as well. It was six months ago when I decided to. I was my sister consultant in her small food business. And doing some freelancing work over the net. Writing articles for our blog site which promotes our small business. Participating in some online forums. Aside from those above, I still want more. I want to earn more. As I am still considering myself a newbie in terms of doing online jobs. I want to be recognized as an Internet Marketer, to be well known to the market world, inspire more people and be known as one of the Successful Entrepreneur in the field of Foods and Enterprising. And I am really hoping that the doors for those levels will open widely for me. That, God will grant those for me. I am really, really praying hard. Well, I wish more blessings to your new endeavour. More blessings to you and me as well. Have a blessed day friend.

Hi Aira, hope I can call you that name - you are a namesake of one of my niece. Thank you very much for the nice words and appreciation. Leaving my work is not an easy one. My past job was my life then and I enjoy doing it to the best of my ability on the companies I have worked for in the past. I must say it was a crowning glory of my life as an accountant. Not to brag, but most of the companies I have been with are excellent if not are prime companies in the Philippines. I have worked with multinationals and foreigner bosses and have a few travels in and out the country because of my career. But I can never be an accountant all my life and sometimes life rekindles your sense of exploring other avenues that challenge your personality. I still love accounting, in fact everyday I am still doing my books, my budgets, my financial analysis, my sales target, my feasibility studies, my marketing and other business tools I have learned in college and applied and honed in the companies I've been with in the past. The only difference is that I am now my own boss. What I did was not impossible, in fact it is achievable by anybody same as you are. I hope hope too that the good Lord guide us all in doing good especially in our chosen path. More blessings to you too my friend.

Hi Hazel, Someday when you finished school, you will be proud to graduate. There is no greater feeling of one walking on your toga and standing proud on stage and holding your diploma. Been there and I will never exchange that experience with anything else - not even money can buy it. So don't despair that you are exchanging much of your time now to study rather than earning on line. Money can be earned even more if you have good education. On losing weight, there are a lot of diet, exercise and discipline you can find in the internet to help you loose weight. Just focus on your goal so that you can achieve it - I know you will. Me, I do yoga at least 15 minutes each day to clear my mind and think straight and by thinking straight I am able to focus on health foods rather than junk and unhealthy diet. Hope you well, my friend.

I was able to quit my call center job (four years of working in the industry). It was so good that i am now on the other side. I am now using my skills about the english language and teaching my Korean students. No more swearing from customers. Now, im receiving more than smiles from students and lots of thank you teacher! I love the feeling! =)

Oh, I was so happy for you. Teaching is one noble task. What you earn in your job cannot be compared to your happiness of every student that smiles for what they have learned from you. Please continue to like your current job not only because of the pay but all the happiness it brought into your life. Cheers!

Hi! How I wish I can also reach that point where I can achieve whatever I wanted to in my life. Few people can live their life to the fullest. I am still on my mid life where I still wanted to do the possible things I still can. If I will retire someday, I would also like a quiet life away from the city life in a farm where I can feel the sweet breeze of my own produce. I know I can someday. I just need to finish my obligations as a daughter to my old mother and a mother to my only son. Cheers to us!
