APOEL Nicosia, fairy tale team in Champion league

As we know, APOEL Nicosia has finally pass through the next stage of Champion League, although they got beaten by Shakhtar Doneskt 0-2 on final match. They able to qualify on top position of their group, so that they only playing with substitute players. They have shown great performance previously against Zenith and FC Porto. Porto did not qualified this time around..So What do you think about this fairy tale team.. Will APOEL Nicosia continue their great performance and luck to next round?

Qualification to the knock out stage in itself is a great achievement APOEL. Anything further is a bonus to the team. So, lets enjoy themselves in this historical moment.

hello, congratulation for APOEL. APOEL is surprising team in this Champion League 2011/2012 when other support Porto as their main team.but in other side, yeah they are lucky because this group is not seems very hard like hell group of Bayern Munchen,cs. The next round will be hard for them, I think their step is enough in second round. Well, that's my opinion

yes, surprising team..congratulations for them in this groups.. but they must work hard if they must meet a team like Marseille, Milan and so on...but this is best achievement for them

yeah it was surprising because many people consider City as the team who accompany Bayern munchen.. but since from the beginning , i believe that Napoli had a chance if we are talking only about qualifying from group stage...

and other surprising team is Napoli. I'm proud about their fight in hell group with Bayern and City. I hope tomorrow match will be their luck...what do you think adhyz??

It is definitely a fairy tale story for APOEL Nicosia. No one had heard of them before this years Champions League. Every match, people expected the bubble to burst, instead they have come as group toppers. Amazing story indeed. BTW, Zenit also qualified at the cost of Porto who will now head to Europa League. Yes, you are right..Porto should be favorite in this group and APOEL has successfully send them to European League..Basel is also fairy tale team looking at their performance and more phenomenal since they beat Man United at home and made their fans crying.. I think their destiny is start when grouping formed, but they manage to improve performance and motivation kept high..

i feel happy for them they are fantastic team that play will a lot of heart, never say die attitude its nice to see them progress after all the effort they put in to even qualify the tournament.

well APOEL Nicosia is surprising team...in their group many people make Porto as favourite but in the end of the group match, APOEL become a winner in this group iam not sure about their chance in the next stage, but i think this is big achievement for them
