Child Spirits

You see the various paranormal shows talk about child spirits. Contrary to the TV shows and other sources there are no child spirits. All spirits were raised to maturity before they were born into this world. Yes children do die. Yes there are the spirits of children. However, there spirits exhibit the full maturity they had obtained before birth upon their deaths. A ghost that you see in the form of a child would either be a deception by a demon or a residual haunt in which there are no spirits present at all. This may sound like religious belief, but, ghost hunting it self is a religion in that it seeks to explain that which can only be taken on faith. Ghost hunting also has its origins in the spiritualist movement of the 19th century.

but i met a man who was a medium, and he told me he used to play with ghost children when he was a child. he was a very sane and normal man, so i saw no reason to disbelieve him, he had a perfectly respectable job, he was just an amateur medium

They were not child spirits. More than likely they were a deception. Remember 1/3 of the host of heaven were cast out and came to this earth to tempt and misslead us from the truth.

OK, but that assumes that all souls are mature before being born into a human body. I dont necessarily believe that. What about new spirits? Spirits that are on their first incarnation?

there is no reincarnation. Since this all belief. It is my belief that this is the only time we have to be tested. There is no other time.

When you consider that all religions seek to explain that which we can not quantify in scientific terms. Then yes it would be a religion. It is a large leap in logic to go from an unexplained event to saying it is ghosts. The direct connection is not there.

What you seem to be saying is that the ghost of a child should look like an adult. But how could the ghost of a child look like an adult if the child never grew to be an adult? And if children are born with mature spirits, why do children behave immaturely?

The spirits which enter this existence are innocent. In order to learn all that we must and to be tested as to our faith and obedience, we all pass through the various stages of development. This is a must to prepare for the eternities.
