Can I really change my life?

As a deeply spiritual person, I do believe that we create our own circumstances in life. I dearly want to move out of my dirty, noisy, polluted town into the peace and tranquillity of the countryside, where most of my friends live. I have my eye on a lovely lively village environment where I could grow my own fruit and veggies and keep chickens for fresh eggs. This is my idea of the good life. Now what is getting in my way is that my mother dearly wanted to move away from the London area but because of her job got stuck for over 30 years! As her career depended on being in a busy London borough, it wasn't possible for her to change her life without huge upheaval to our family. I no longer work but am therefore not in a financially-comfortable position to just 'up sticks' and move. I am trying all the usual 'Cosmic tricks' of positive visualisation and daily affirmations that I have already won the prize but I'm humanly-tired of waiting for good things to manifest in my life! Has using 'all the tricks' ever worked for you or someone you know?

It took Hubby and me 20 years to reach our goal to live where we do now. Many things influenced this. What we did was take it one small step at a time always with the final goal in mind. We traveled, each vacation to the area we wanted to live in, until we had narrowed it down to a much smaller area and then we searched for property to buy, this took us a good 5 years. After that all we could do is continue our jobs until retirement came along, then we sold our house at a loss and just moved. Now here we are and it was all worth it. Goal setting and careful planning made this work, it never turned out just the way we wanted but we were flexable enough to accept what we got.

That's nice to know, but I don't have the money behind me or the loving support, apart from spiritual, to do these things. I don't even drive. Sorry to sound like a sad old cow but that is just the way my life has gone even though I worked hard to make it different. I'm now just working to change everything and give myself the sort of life I deserve. I will get there in the end too! Blessings!

You showed how boring your city life was and you thought that you would need to change it. My question what part of your life that you'd need to change. I was definitely sure you could change your life even without having to move out or away from where you are now. I though that you were indeed in the need of changing the look on your vision, it seemed that you wanted something different, alive like for e.g flowers and animal stuff like. You should start from your own garden. You said that you didn't have enough for gardening. I suggested you made hanging garden, all can be possible so long as you have space even a myriad of space. All you need was to find the ideas of how to make your dream coming true. Get some information detailly refer to your wish you wanted too. Good Luck

Thank you for your advice and good wishes. I do have a garden, in a very polluted area, but it is too small to do the things I want to do in it.

I do believe in positive thinking and I believe putting it out there can really help, I do have a story but it is a very personal one that involves in having a teenage passion about a pop singer and I mean a passion and then thirty years later actually meeting this person and for him becoming the most important thing in my life, so I think having him on my mind all the time even through relationships, I call it a dream come true.

Where as the tricks as you put it does help, for me I've found that I'm usually the one standing in the way or achieving these things I seek. Let me explain. I find myself in this horrible loop where I try to move forward but I'm starting 5 steps back. I recognize the changes I need to make, better budgeting for example, but find it difficult because my husband and I weren't on the same page. Not just on the mundane either. He was one to be pessimistic and negative. It was like we were working against one another. I knew all the changes I made in the world weren't going to work, nor was magick, if we weren't working together. Also, I realize, "Rome wasn't built in a day" and I need to be patient. What I want and what I truly need may be different. Giving up, that isn't an option. Doing what I can do today to make positive change and yes, hope, that will keep me pressing on and open to recieving the things I need and even desire. I get down, we all do. We tend to sabotauge (sp) ourselves with doubt and fear instead of being thankful for what we have and what we know will be in ways we don't even notice. Is this the case for you? I can't say that. I don't know you and I'm not judging you. I'm just saying I have noticed this concerning myself. At the same time, if I've ever really been in a pinch I've recieved help. Not always from where I expected it, but it's been there.

hi, im really not much into cosmic tricks but i honestly believe that only you can have the power to change your life. you ofcourse need to have a vision of what you want and try to achive that vision by acting on it one day at a time. have a good day!

I am doing a little towards it every day and am not just waiting for it to happen. I, like you, believe we have to help ourselves first before anything 'shifts' and we can make our dreams come true.

I understand what you mean and i know a website that may help you find what you want as far as land goes. http://www.londonproperties.com , you may find it easier to use the search tab they have on the left side of the page.
