College student's income

Philippines

I wanna earn atleast 3,000php a week. But I can't think of any job that I can do that could give me that amount. Reality is, a lot of people here in the Philippines is working for a month for just 2000php salary. So how much more that a college student like me could earn atleast 3,000 a week. I'm not closing my door about that possibility. Although I earn around 4,000 monthly and I have to budget it for my school things and allowance weekly and personal hygene. My school projects requires a lot of financial needs. My god, I can't just ask my dad nor my sister to give me 3,000 weekly for it. Cuz they are the ones helping me and sending me to college. I'm not that type of student who usually ask money. I want the money to come from my own purse and hardwork. That's why though I don't have time to sleep, cuz I'm busy with studies, work, school things, my positions in school etc. I still find time to have extra jobs. Before, I want to have a savings account atleast 100,000php before graduating from college. I'm halfway. But, now, I'm using it for school projects and other matters. So I'm still looking for something so that a college student like me could earn around 3,000php monthly in a clean and legal way.

Hi,my friend, you are earning money while you are still in college, it is great. Because here in my country, most college students just ask money from their families. Of course, there are some students who are earning college fees by themselves too. Most tutor children for money. Because it won't take too much time and have great pay. I think you should keep a good balance of the time to study and earn. Because only study well in college, you can earn more money after graduation. And don't get too tired and try to have enough sleep. Health is the most important.

earning while studying is common in other countries. however, st times, working gets in the way of studies. one reduces the number of hours spent in studying because of work. you may consider working as a freelancer. if you are good in writing, you may sign up in freelancing job sites. or if you're good in sharing your knowledge, many students are working parttime as a tutor. wish you the best of luck.

I don't know if you have coupons where you live, but coupons could be your answer to living very cheaply. I live in the US and have cut food, personal hygiene, and cleaning items for a family of five from $600 US dollars a month to $100 US Dollars a month. Saving my family $500 a month.

i think coupon s really good to cut the expenses. I tried some. Now I'm connecting one of my debit card to some of coupon online shops. I find it cheaper than going out to malls and saves lot of money. But i wish to have extra job still. Thanks for the advice.:)

Unless you get a regular job, it would be a bit challenging to raise 3,000 a week through online earning, but it is possible. If you have a tight school schedule, it would be easier to squeeze in online work than holding a part-time job or something. But if you could manage to schedule part-time work in your schedule, then I think you should go for that. The pay is certain plus you get some form of work experience which could be useful when you graduate and start looking for a job.

Well, as you said in the previous discussion, you do like to write. You should take that pleasure and start to make it something that will be able to earn some money for you. Yes, at first when you start writing online, you are not making a lot of money, but as you build up the portfolio of articles and such that you've written you will be able to earn more money in a passive way. I write at Helium and I really enjoy writing with them.

I know people who earns through real estate. No age requirement, just confidence and sales talk abilities. Just refer prospective buyers of a condominium unit or any kind of real estate to an agent, and when that buyer bought the unit, you might get commission from the payment. Try that, you just need patience and a lot of hardwork.. Good luck!

Well you've already looked online and I think that it is the best start that you could possibly have made for yourself. The good thing about the internet is that there is such a huge opportunity for people to make a lot of money if they should want to do so that it makes very little sense not to make the most of those opportunities if you have the chance to do so. You should think about your own talents, and then do some research about how you could possibly earn a little extra cash whilst following your own talents.

it is hard to find a job that could earn you that much in a week here in the Philippines. You may want to look into doing a small business or check out outsourcing jobs offline and online. Good for you that you were able to save some money. I don't.

Invest your money. It can be in Mutual funds if you want a bigger interest than bank. I don't think 3k per week is possible. I don't know a job that pays that big in a week,... not unless you go on HYIP which is not recommended! Well, goodluck! You're a hard-working student as I can see you. Success and luck be with you!

Well, you could try investing your money if you want to. It's much better to invest rather than saving your money in a bank. I'm also from the Philippines so I understand your current situation. I invested part of my money and I'm earning 1000php per 3 months from the money that I invested. The big plus is that I can get the money I invested any time since I invested it in a family business of ours. 1000php/3months may seem low for you but it's better than nothing right? I also earn by saving my allowance per month. I'm doing blogging and mylot right now. Try doing stuffs that can help you improve yourself. Mylot is one since it helps us Filipinos in improving our English proficiency. You could also try applying as a Student Assistant in your school. It can be another source of income for you.

Wow. You're such a hard-working person. I'm happy to know that you came from Philippines too. Same with you, I also want to earn money by myself. But I think it's not a good idea to give all your time with your studies, work, school things, position at school and not giving yourself a sleep. We're both in the same situation, but I don't give myself too much pressure. Your health is important to continue your daily activities. You must give yourself a break. You also need to remember to focus on your studies because after graduation, you're free to get a job. You should give most of your time in your studies and doing research for your own. Me, I don't rely on our discussions at school and to what our teachers gives us as an assignment. I do research like going deeper on our discussions, searching for topics which interest me like how to design or program my own website. Like Mark Zuckerberg, he is just a second-year student when he published facebook. Don't hurry too much, because sometimes this will make you down. Take a break. Live like were dying is not a good idea just enjoy life. Be happy.
