Hi there, I think it's safe to say that every country has a plan in place where they can be at war within a heartbeat. Modern technology could get planes in the air, ships on alert and fingers ready to push buttons in a very short space of time. China coming out with this information would ensure that everyone is on their guard.

In the USA we are told that the Chinese are always ready for war, whether this is true or not we don't know. The governments tell us what they wish us to know, it's very hard to believe anything these days.

Hi Ganesh, every nation tries to be equipped with modern arms. None wants to remain weak. It is also in case of India. Today I read a news item which says, India is the third largest arms buyer from USA. So China, India ,Pakistan all are in arms race.

This is not good news. Everyone who is knowledgeable about China's history as regards wars will definitely be worried. China is very good at dealing with wars. I wonder if this will mean that the third world war is already in the offing? I am thinking now that Japan might also be considering about getting armed again? It is always best that we stay on a peaceful and war-free environment.

Where in the news did you read this? Could it just be a rumor? Maybe China is just trying to think ahead and be prepared for any possible conflicts with any country. China has always been paranoid about foreign countries. It was not that long ago that this huge land was occupied by Japan, a small country. I have never understood how that could happen but it did. With all the tensions and conflicts going on in the world, maybe it is wise for every country to always be ready to defend itself.

I did do a search and you are correct that there is a lot of information that China is talking war and maybe preparing for war. Right now, it seems more like just talk. We are getting no such information in The United States or if we are, I have missed it. I also read that India and China have had wars before and there has been tension between the countries and maybe still is. I know very little about any tension or wars between China and India. I am aware that there have been problems between Pakistan and India. That is mostly what we hear about in The United States. We hear about conflicts between India and Pakistan but not India and China. When we hear or talk about China, it is mostly about the lack of democracy in China and the oppression of its own people. We hear some about China oppressing Tibet and The Tibetan people. I was not aware that other countries in the region have conflicts with China. It seems to me that it was not that long ago that China was a an isolationist power and just wanted to be left alone. Now, all American businesses want to do business with China. Nothing is made in The U.S. anymore. Everything is made in China.

Yes I agree with China is going to be the next superpower and yes I agree That the relation between India and Pakistan, are always tensed since almost 60 years and I also agree that the relation between India and China are no good India fought war with China and Pakistan in the past but beside the Tensed relation between these 3 countries the more serious part of it is that we are all nuclear nations …… Any war between these countries will be much much damaging then we can think of Hare Krishna Ganesh

Slowly world is becoming more and more nuclear even small nations like Iran and Pakistan are having nuclear weapon that itself is a big threat to peace and stability of world ......... I really don’t know what this should be construed as! China has always been aggressive with its neighbours. Excepting Pakistan, I wonder if China has ever had any friendly relations with any nation ever. The Chinese keep a low profile but go about their work determinedly and in a disciplined manner…add to that their communist diktat and you can understand why most nations are skeptical about trusting China. India has had several tiffs with China along with one full fledged war and of late, china has been foraging into Indian territory and movements of Chinese soldiers has increased along our border…it all depends on how well our foreign office handles all this.

yes Sudipta I agree with you on most you said its very tough to predict the plan of China about war but definelty its intentions are not good since chineese president is making such serious statements publicly but any war involving nuclear powers India ,china ,Pakistan would be deadliest of all the wars so far happened.... If you studied the history of China, then you will understand that why president Hu asked his military to be prepared for war, every time when China is destined to be a great power, the European power doesn't like it, they will cook up all sorts of excuses to invade China to keep it from growing strong, so that it can not challenge the hegemony of European power in global stage regardless of whether China has any intention of staying as the only dominant power in the world. History has provided ample evidences of oppression against China and taught a hard lesson to the Chinese president that in order to provide sufficiently for itself and grow economically among nations, its military need to remain strong and powerful to prevent itself falling victim in the hand of European oppressors again, no eastern nation can become great if it doesn't get it own military in order and ready for the arrival of those thugs and thieves.

It is a new learning for me I never knew this before but in such a a situation I think it is natural for China to be in a ready state of war with any country who is trying to invade the China in the future………. But what I know about China is that when it comes to security China is a country which is very hard a against anyone who try to pose any threat against the country Hare Krishna Ganesh
