Hi there guys! I was just wondering if there are other mylotters who does not celebrate Christmas like me? Well, I am a christian but we do not celebrate Christmas. Sound weird? Ya, but we don't since originally, Christmas is not even used once in the Bible. For some facts( I hope I don't offend anybody, because this was really in the history ), Jesus was not born in wintertime... It was actually the birthday of the Sun God of the pagans before. But anyways, when it's Christmas, we have a Christmas break which is kind of good for me and to students as well. So how about you? Do yo also not celebrate Christmas?

I as Christian do celebrate christmas every year, it is the time where in we as a whole family gather together and pray thanking God for all the blessings, though we could always thank God for blessing not only during Christmas. Well no one can be certain when is Jesus was born.

My family and I are Christian and we celebrate Christmas each year. I didn't know if Christmas is not in the Bible, but we have been celebrating Christmas from generation to generation ago. It's kinda like traditional ceremony of a religion. We used to go to pray at the 25 Dec 2011. I don't care if Jesus was not born, I think it is not big deal for me and most importantly I knew from the beginning since my parents introduced me Christmas and anything about it. It's not entirely up our fault and I just like being on Christmas. It's a wonderful moment in whole year. Hope this wouldn't make disappointed with my confession. Okay

What does it matter when Jesus was born? I would rather people acknowledge and celebrate that Jesus was born and walked on the earth for one day a year than ignore it. The angels in heaven rejoiced when Jesus was born, so I think God would be pleased to know we as Christians do celebrate his birth. As for Christmas not being in the bible, that is because the bible tells us of Christs birth, the first Christmas As for your comment about birthday of Sun God of the pagans, haha seriously?

I am not a Catholic but I know the history of the Catholic church pretty well. Frankly I dont care when Christs birth is celebrated, just that it is.

I will fully admit to celebrating the commercialized version of it. I love the lights and decorations. I use it as a time of giving. This year mostly monetarily, but in the past I have donated my time.

It is true Jesus was not born in winter, Christmas has a symbolic/spiritual meaning rather than the festivity. we should think of the spiritual significance of Jesus birth; that is, the beginning of God's Mission to save mankind!

Our family always celebrate Christmas and it is also a time where the family get's together and spend good time with each other and have fun and catch up with lost time when we were busy the whole year round. It's the time where we can have fun and loose the tention.
