Do You Ever Donate To The Greater Good Network?

I see various ads for the Greater Good Network whenever I go on the Tiki Treasure website and it got me thinking.. Do you donate to it? Do you buy items from it? How does it all work as I know people from outside the US can buy things from them if they so wish. It looks such a good cause to become involved in; I'm only hoping you've had positive experiences with them. http://www.greatergood.com/

Yes, some of these charities can get too big and you don't know where your donations are going.

Yes!Some organizations swindle money out of people under the pretence of charity.

This program is new to me. I have not heard about it till now. Thank you for the information. I have been, from time to time, making donations to international charity organizations which are doing excellent work helping needy people in different parts of the world.

I've not been aware of that site. The projects seem rather meager in number. I do give to various charities but refrain from doing so online. As it is, I get requests via regular mail in numbers and I think that is from just having donating to a couple of charities. I've got so many address labels now that I'll never be able to use them all before I die. These charities send them out as gifts hoping you'll feel guilty enough at receiving something that you'll donate something.

I don't donate to charity anymore as I cannot afford it. However, if I had the money I would probably buy something off the site in question as some of the things looks quite good..but anyway, at least I'm a cyber-protester..always signing petitions and the like. Doesn't cost me anything doing that!

I am in a financial position right now that does not allow me to donate to charity. I will say one more thing...charity begins at home.

Well that's just it..that's what The Greater Good Network is all about - it caters for people in the US, not just in poorer countries.

No I don't and I also don't donate to anyone else anymore. Besides of the fact I have a shelter myself and I can use the money very well for that I don't agree with the way famous/big organisations are using the money. Also in our country the government already is spending/giving a big part of the tax (also my money) to these (always the same) organisations. I also don't give money if they are collecting at the front doors, I have a note at my door I don't give. It works fine.

I don't donate anymore as I cannot afford it and I limit the charity giving anyway as it can get out of hand and - like you said, where's the money going?
