Is Webo available in English (or do you have to have a translator on your browser)?

@mythociate I am so sorry. It should be Weibo! I made a mistake on spelling.Weibo is a online APP like facebook, you can show your dailylife on it,and your friends can got it.Ii's a good way to connect with your friends and family!

I also want to avoid Facebook.. forever but the thing that is stopping me are my friends and family. Facebook had become the cheapest (almost free when you don't think about the electric bill) and quickest way to keep in touch with them. I hope I will find another solution. Because just like others I want my privacy and sometimes I do not want to be found.

I agree with you completely. Facebook is the only way to keep information flowing through the family, particularly because most of them are out of state. There is a downside to that though....we don't talk on the phone nearly as much as we should. I do like it for sharing photos, videos, etc. I just try not to put too much personal information on there.

It is very easy to avoid Facebook. In fact, I deleted my account about a month ago. It was not really that essential to my life to begin with. It is not really something that I really logged into everyday. There were days where I was in fact on there less and less, and then one day, I think that I wasn't on there at all whatsoever. I'm much, much better for it. There are a lot of privacy concerns. And the thing is, connecting with my real life friends and family is not really a completely good thing, as you start learning more about them then you really need to know and thus you begin resenting seeing too much of them. Even if it is online, it can still be taxing and the cause of many problems. So farewell Facebook, never want to see you again, ever.

not quite easy at first but you'll get over facebook. I did it successfully, you know what i did? I simply just didn't log on to facebook. stop playing the games there. think about it, there are so many things you can do to improve your life and yourself rather than use all that time improving your stats in games. How about improving your stats in actual life? I wrote some things I want to achieve in life down and i want to do every little thing that is required in order to reach my goals. when you realize that you can live better without facebook, you will easily detach yourself from it. But, you can still log on occasionally, network, connect with friends, gather info. the games are absolutely not worthy of your time.

I still go on Facebook because I like some of the applications and I can keep in touch with some friends but I am not on it as much as I used to as I have been shocked by the reactions to other peoples opinions by some people, I believe in calling a spade a spade so I have been in a couple of heated conversations...much more peaceful here on Mylot.

FB is a total waste of time and so very much a violation of privacy. I deleted my FB account and have had no regrets. Everyone in the world has no business knowing what I am seeing and doing on the web or in my private life.

I enjoyed myLot, I enjoyed Facebook. I am not trying to avoid both of them, I just try to control myself while using both of those sites.. Try to set up a target about how much time you want to spend with Facebook and Mylot. Of course, make that target feasible and suits your condition well. Don't ever try to Facebook in all day long while tomorrow you'll have an exam.. Later, after you set up the target, just follow it strictly..

That was easy.. I went on holidays (no internet) as I came back fb was changed. I am not able to play the games anymore so visiting fb is a big waste of my time if I have to wait for hours till a game is loaded or if they kick me out time after time because the connection is gone.
