My husband won a cruise through work. We opted in taking our 3 children with us for i didnt want my first trip out of the states to be without them. We are all so excited in April we will be Bermuda bound! I am looking for some advice from anyone who has taken a cruise in general, but more so of those who have taken one with children. I have 3 children a 10 year old an a set of 4 year old twins. I know the cruiseline we will be on has a kidsclub program for the children. Has any one used this? How was it? did your children enjoy it? Also, as far as packing goes, did you pack drinks & snacks for your children? Other then the obvious bathing suit and island wear what else should i pack? Do the nights get chilly? i know we'll be on the open water but are sweatsirts a neccesst weather wise? What should we pack? This will be our first BIG family trip and i want it to be perect. any help would be geatly appreciated! Thanks so much in advance!

That's so much fun!! Most of the time food will be included on the ship and if you want to take snacks for the day, they don't mind. The kidsclubs are usually really well organized and they have lots of activities the kids can do. Your older one might not enjoy it as much but it's worth a try. You may want to bring a jacket just in case. Inside the ship you may get cold and the night air might get a little chilly while you're at sea. But Bermuda itself should actually be warm and I doubt you'll need a jacket during the daytime.

I travel with my 4 year old disabled son and my 2 year old daughter. I suggest taking children's packaged foods and powder to make into drinks. You could ask if liquids are permitted because they are not let through airport security. The cruise line kids club is likely to be delightful for your children. I take my daughter to a kids club at my local sports center. I wish you a happy cruise over to Bermuda.
