Unfortunately there are some states who have that snow already and its enough to still be there for Christmas.. I am definately not wishing or looking forward to snow at anytime. Of course if/when it comes there is nothing we can do but I can truly do with it...Its good for the chidren and the skiers, but I am neither of those...LOL... Have a great holiday

I live in Minnesota and we have NO snow! I want a white Christmas. My daughter and family are coming from California for a white...not brown Christmas! I would be happy though with just a dusting. My daughter says that after they get here she would love a good old fashioned blizzard!

ph jillhill surely she jests. lol good old blizzards are sometimes'killers. I am from south Dakota but left there fifty years ago to be warm and free from blizzards. they are only pretty on Christmas cards not in reality brrrr and double brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.I stood out as a coed waiting for a bus and shivering went in looked outside at the thermometer'it read forty below zero.thats fahrenheit of course. I am happy here in Southern Ca although its been colder than usual but not that bitter south Dakota cold.lol lol.

Oh I would love a white Christmas, I live in Australia and sometimes we get 100 degrees heat on Christmas day so the best we can hope for is a rather cool day, because most families still have the full roast meal for Christmas lunch which is pretty hot in that kitchen sometimes...

Yes, i am wishing for a white Christmas. Though Christmas is not our official festival, but most year at this time, there are snows already. But this year, we have not seen snow up until now. Snow can purify the air and make the kids happy. My son has expected snow for many many days. Yesterday the weather forecast said there will be snow today, but there has not been any sign now.

It doesn't seem like Christmas if it is too green. i don't want a full blown blizzard but i do like to see some snow at christmas time. it just seems right for the day.

I always wanted a white Christmas, when I wasn't the one who had to drive in it. No seriously, there are just going to be a lot of insanity out there on the road, even on Christmas day. And if some horrific wreck occurs, it is going to be much harder to get help out there and potentially much more costly because it is in fact Christmas. If we get a white December 26th, I won't really mind. However, the day of Christmas, having snow down on the ground, it is not something that I am going to be too thrilled with. Then again its the ice that is more of the problem. Then again, the weather appears to be clear but there is nothing sure about the weather forecast until it happens.

I wish to experience having a white Christmas , though i must say after that, i will always wish for a sunny Christmas. When it's sunny, my family can very well do some shopping and malling and eating out without the hazzle of avoiding the rain and snow.

It is impossible to snow in my city. It will have much more atmosphere if there is a white Christmas. However, I am very afraid of the cold weather. Compare to it, probably I will like to have a Christmas in summer:) I love China

You are going to hate me for this but I just LOVE the snow! I would love to have a white christmas but I'll take the snow anytime. The more, the better. Just before Halloween, we got hit with an amazing storm!! The snow was up to my knees! I don't ski or anything either...I just love it. It's beautiful.

It doesn't matter to me either way. I'd prefer the snow to hold off all winter personally. Though I guess since I bought the kids sleds that they may be interested in trying them out ;o)

I am certainly hoping for a white Christmas, as I'm sure a lot of other people are as well. I don't personally feel that it's Christmas without snow, but I think that it's what I used to. It's what I associate with the Christmas holidays.

Oh hey, I am not a big fan of white Christmas myself. As matter of fact, I wish this Christmas gonna be sunny, and warm. I don't want it to be snowy, or anything freezing. I had enough for this cold already. Maybe it is global warming, but I still want it to be above 60, and less rainy this Christmas hopefully.

hi bjc66bjc oh my no no not here in Southern California we do not want snow and we seldom do get any and our weather has been too cold as it is. I want our regular green Christmas and now I want Santa Claus to bring me some good health again as I have a miserable sore throat and cold and am coughing and wheezing all over the place. You have a great holiday too. I am not a kid or a skier so no snow for me thanks just the same. lol lol

We have had some light flurries in the mornings but nothing substantial as yet. Our ski area is already open I believe. I live in a valley and they get it up there and we often don't get it down here. Thank goodness. I always hope it snows Christmas Eve and enough for the kids to play out on Christmas Day and call it good. You have a great holiday too.

I am the same way! This past weekend we drove to the mountains to play around in the snow. But I'm perfectly happy with it staying up there in the mountains, and away from city folks here. Driving could get nasty with snow on the ground, and the inexperienced drivers, and the slipping and sliding of cars and people can get even nastier!

I grew up in Missouri and loved the snow. Now I am older and live in Florida and do not miss all the shoveling etc. I could not take it with the illnesses I have now. But reading your headline on your discussion I called Monday to get my ham for Xmas. I get it from Burgers Smokehouse in California Missouri. While ordering the ham in I told the lady I was on the phone with to send me a snowball with my ham. She laughed.

In our country we don't experience snow. I am looking forward to the day that I would be touching and feeling the snow. I don't know the feeling of being in a place were there is heavy snow. In places were roads are covered with snow.
