It's not Fibromyalgia or my Gall Bladder

In fact I have a growth on my left kidney. Why am I relieved by that? Because now I know and no longer have to worry about what it might be. It's apparently not a serious growth either. An operation and a couple of weeks convalescence and I will be as right as rain.

I do understand what you are saying...the worry of not knowing is soooo much worse than the relief of knowing what you're dealing with!!! If it will help you feel any better...when my uncle was 80 he dealt with a growth on his kidney which was easily removed. He lived until he was 93 & it wasn't the growth on his kidney that did him in...it was old age. I think 13 years of health is a WONDERFUL gift!!! Since you are MUCH younger than my uncle, you'll have another 30-40 years to enjoy myLot!!!!

It's strange how knowing what's wrong helps us to feel better. I'm glad you can get things sorted now. Take care, speak soon.

Well, it is interesting many times when there is something wrong with someone it takes many different kinds of tests, etc. to determine what is wrong, and what would be the best form of treatment for someone. Hope that they are able to fix the issue at hand and it does not end up being something else more serious. To me something to do with kidneys would still be scary, but as long as it is not fybromyalga hopefully they can find a better solution to help make you feel better as well.

I don't know exactly when they will do it, if they will do it. I have to have a CT scan first to check that they are right and that there are no other growths (that's the worrying bit), but if there is just the one then they will do whatver they have to do very early in the New Year.

What made you think that it was Fibromyalgia or your Gall Bladder? Glad that you went to the doctor and found out what it really was, instead of worrying about what it could or might of been. Hope everything turns out alright for you and have a "Happy Merry Christmas".

hi dear P1ke as you know I am playing catch up now with all my mail. This cold is subsiding slowly and I feel a little better than during the holidays now.
I am glad that this growth on your kidney is nothing serious and you will get rid of that soon. Didnt know it would lead to severe symptoms like you had them. Hope everything works out well.
