Well, I'm from one of the Asian country and our main diet everyday has been rice. We like the way they taste and we mix them with other dishes when we take our meals. It is one thing that Asian people could not miss. On the other hand, my understanding is that most European and western nation have different diet. Cereal, steak, french fries for example. As far as the development of technology is concern, I believe you might have been traveling to one of the Asian countries and tried rice before. So what's it like eating rice? What kind of rice dishes you took and how was it? . I find the food from your place to be delicious and tempting too. such as Pizza, burgers and pancake.

When i working oversea, every day is pizza, burgers. I tell myself, i will not go to McDonald when i back to Hong Kong, at least for a month! When i working oversea, only pure rice. It is so tasty and smell so good! Sometime, if not have rice, i feel out of energy too! However, for normal days, everyday is rice, rice and rice, I will prefer pizza, burgers .... :)

I love rice and it is suposed to be really good for you.In the past i have enjoyed curry and rice, other things like adding sweet corn and peas with the rice makes the rice taste less plain. My daughter likes to add rice with lots of things including a salad.

Actually, I think that rice is a good thing, and Asians are not the only people who have or eat rice, so do many Latino cultures. I think that rice is good for people. It's healthy.

When we Canadians toured east Asia we soon tired of soup 3 times a day with fried or steamed rice. My jaws were sore from chewing shaved beef that was boiled in the soup but was otherwise raw. We searched for bread, which was very scarce. Eating in east Asia was no pleasure for us, especially in Laos.

I eat rice most of the time at home as well but I don't choose rice when I am out. Maybe because I just have too much of it at home. I like curry with rice and some of the fried rice. When I am in the UK, they like having bread most of the time and I hate bread now!

Rice is good to eat. Specially a lot of dishes are prepared in the Indian subcontinent with rice and they are popular with western tourists too.

Rice has no taste. I usually pair it with a dish/dishes. We eat rice everyday. I like also to eat pizza, burger, and pancakes. They all taste delicious.
