Daughter came by and gave Hubby and me an introduction to what's in the future for computer workers like us. It's scary, almost as scary as when we first realized we would have to learn the use of a computer in place of our paper records. Tablets, clouds, etc. sound like very good ideas but to us they are just ideas, guess we will have to take a class or two.

The computer field is always evolving. They have to keep up with trends, people and the competition. I read a lot about what Apple is up to and believe me, they are doing some wild things. They will be changing the face of TV as we know it. I don't think we need to take a class to learn these new things, we just need to keep up with the technology.

I have been meaning to find out about the cloud thing. I have seen the option come up on the Xbox and I haven't a clue. I am pretty ok with the way things are. My daughter has been on an Ipod for quite some time now so the tablets won't be a big deal to her. I might have some getting used to to do though. Everytime we get comfortable they go and modernize something else. I got a preview of the new Windows 8 at work and that is going to be interesting too.

With technology getting advanced everyday new gadgets are being introduced continuously. We will have to continously keep learning to keep up with the modern age. Now it is tablets. Tomorrow will be something else.

Computer technology is really evolving so fast that an idea can almost be obsolete after 6 months! Well, we can't learn anything but we can definitely master a few. We then just have to stick to things that we can surely use :)
