Holidays are just too short, I wish it can be longer

Maybe a lot of here have the similar mentality, the holidays just too short, and I honestly want to say 2 days just not enough for this Christmas celebration, we should elongate it nationally. Maybe I was just hopelessly lazy, and not wanting to get back to work soon. Actually, including Saturday and Sunday, I already had 4 days rest for this Christmas. Luckily, I didn't go out that much, nor I didn't spend too much money too. So, time to face to the reality, I should go back to work tomorrow. So, when do you get back to work?

The holidays do seem to quick. But here in my house, the holiday starts before christmas and ends on new years day. So to me it seems quite long. I guess it's an italian thing. Anyway, I do understand what you mean. All the preparation for a single day is way to much, so why not have like a three day christmas and a three day new years eve.

Hi King, before whenever it is holiday time, i am always make sure that i am able to take at least 5 - 7 days rest. It is because i want to spend quality time with my parents and siblings. It is hard to get enough time to be spend with them, especially when my parents are staying very far away from me. Since now we are staying nearby to each other, so it is not necessary to take a long leave anymore. Except when we need to visit my parents in-law, then it is still a must to take another long leave. Coming soon, we would need to take another long leave, to visit them.

Actually, the day after Christmas i took a leave of absence. I filed it last Friday. Hence, me and my daughter was also able to visit my parents in our hometown. We also get to eat the stored foods from Christmas day. That i will do too, on Jan. 2.

I always get the feeling that holiday is just so short and how i wish it could be longer.Anyway, this is a way for us to relax,so what we need is just to enjoy it.I only have two days off every week,it's a little bit frustrated but anyway,i'm planning a trip for myself to really keep myself calm down.

I guess holidays are always short. The more we get , the more we want and specially if there is some festival or occasion at that time then we all need lots and lots of time to work for celebration and enjoying ourselves.

sometimes I start the holidays early so they do not end so quick. I used to not be able to do that until I started working from home.

Hi, it is understandable that we always think that happy time fly so fast, while working days are so long. Is Christmas the biggest and most important festival in your country? If it is, i think two official days rest is too short. Chinese New Year is our most important festival, we can have 4days leave, but it is usually combined with two weekends, therefore, we can have 8 days leave.

I'll be back for the next two weeks cos I'm sick right now. It is not good thing to do too. If I were you, I would feel the same things as you, as a normal human, we tend to stay comfort at our pleasant time and place and will feel too short in enjoying it. But you know what? If you have longer holiday, I think you would not enjoy it as much as now since you would do more unpleasant things to do too. The longer holiday will make you bored too cos having nothing to do at home while all of those happy things has been done and don't get more money of course.
