Would you buy a Tata Nano if it was available in your country?

I was reading some articles on the Indian Made car - Tata Nano. The specs looks really good. And the reviews on the car has been pretty good. Given the small capacity, the high fuel-to-mileage ratio, it looks to be a really green car for a petrol-powered car. If this car were available in your country, would you dump your current car (if you already own one) to get the Tata Nano?

Hi ahgong, From the looks of it this car seems like a nifty little car. Perhaps it's suitable as a second car for making short shopping trips, making errands, sending kids to school, etc since this car has such amazing mileage per liter of gas. Anyway before I go and buy one myself I would have to consider other factors like safety features, reliability and after sales service. Have a nice day.

No definitely not...i would rather go by walk for buying a nano...it is one the most rubbish and worst cars i have ever seen....though it might be cheap..but on the indian roads especially in tamil nadu it will lead you to very high maintenance cost...very poor design..you know if it hits a tree or some some stones along the roadways..it will crush like a papad...

Well i would not dump my current car for tata nano, but yes if we consider its price and less down payment , then i would buy it as a second car for the family. The reviews i have been hearing about the car are good , so we can think of buying it.

If it is available in india then I would love to buy Tata Nano because it is cheap comparing other cars,But If I have a car then I wont even go and buy Tata Nano. As far as I am concerned Tata Nano is a very good car but lacks lot features then other cars, moreover it is similar to having an auto because it has very limited space and cannot accomodate more and more peoples. It can accomodate not more then 3 and if we do that then it would be difficult faor the peoples sitting inside the car.

I am from India and yes it is available in my country but i am not much interested in it. Yeah, it is a good car within a small amount of budget but this car looks like a matchstick box to me (lol). It seems much small. So not interested. But the car is great.
