why do you think unhappiness for one person means unhappiness for both?

Usually if one person in a relationship is unhappy most likely the other person will be unhappy as well. Why do you think that is? I think it is because a couples feelings affect one another. When one is sad or down that can affect the partner too. So I think it is important for a couple to work together to keep one another happy.

Its because in a relationship spouses are complementary to each other. There is no happiness if both are not equally happy. If any of the spouse is not happy, it will make the relationship look surreal and ultimately lead to the failure of relationship. Thats why a constant feedback should be kept on sharing from the spouses in a relationship. The more you share, the better it gets.

Yes I agree with you. In a good relationship spouses should be complementary to one another. So if one is unhappy it will affect the other. I think that it is very important to talk openly with one another so that way feelings are understood. At times we may think we know what another person is feeling but it is better to be open and talk about things. That way we aren't being misunderstood or misunderstanding our spouse or partner.

Hi Dom.. You are right... One's feelings truly affect the other's in a relationship... Relationship is all about love... So people, when they love someone, are prone to feel affected when their partners are not feeling good... It is just about love...

The way you stated it makes perfect sense. We each want one another to be happy. Because of our love for the other person that is our desire. So when one is not happy then the other is more than likely to feel down as well. So it is a good thing to do our best to bring happiness to our spouse or partner. When we do that we are not only making them happy but ourselves as well.

I think this is great to do. It adds so much to the day and to the relationship. It strengthens the relationship. I agree love isn't a fairytale. It takes work and time to continue to build a good relationship. Life has there ups and downs and both have to be willing to work at it.

Of course-when you see your love one feeling sad and you cannot cheer him/her- you feel disappointed and started feeling sad too. So, the best way is give him/her time to be alone and speak out his/her mind once he/she is ready to share his/her thoughts and feelings.

I agree it is a good thing to let the other person speak their mind. After all we all usually feel a little bit better when our feelings are out in the open. And we no longer feel like we are keeping them to ourselves.

hi dominique, It is because they love each other. Even they are not yet married or already married, they feel same, they feel they are one. What they long for is for each others to be happy. Because of love, whenever one feel sad or problematic, the other will feel miserable and for sure will do all things to make his or her partner happy again. That is the wonder love can make. Although I do not have a boyfriend now, I can still feel it with my friends and family. God is so good to give the gift of loving to one another. Happy New Year!

I agree with you. When we are in a relationship and the other person is sad we are sad along with them. We feel for them and all that they are going through. It is nice to be able spend time with our family and friends. They really do mean a lot to us.
