How would you know if you're friend is a lesbian or not?

I am not against to lesbian. I even had a lesbian relationship when i was in high school. But it didn't work out because we were just being teased with my classmates and friends. But, I don't really like having lesbian relationship. I want men.LOL But here's a thing. How would you know if you're friend is a lebian? I have a very close friend who act strange nowadays. I don't want to put some bad thoughts about her but i was just wondering what is behind that strange behaviour. Just want to have some clues, hints or whatever. Please tell me.

Sometimes it's hard to tell if a girl is lesbian. Some are just tomboy - they act like a guy but they're not lesbians. I think the better way of knowing it is to ask her directly not in a very serious way. So if she's not then both of you can just laugh about it.

well it's actually easy if you ask me... you just need to be a keen observer... first thing you will notice is that they look at sexy women not in a jealous way... and they won't say any negative thing like most woman will if they see a sexy woman pass by.
and if you talk about men... well they don't seem to have interest at them at all.
if you want just give her a test... take a photograph one a man and the other is a woman... just ask them what they think of them (each).
i have a friend who was a guy and he always tell every body that he is strait... but really i don't believe him... so we are like watching this tylor swift love story video and he said suddenly to me pointing out to the people in the video... "hey look the guy is such a hunk." and i told him what about tylor... "she's beautiful too..."
yeah you can really tell if your friends are strait or not... i have gay friends and lesbian friends... they are all cool... my brothers are gay too... and my cousin is a lesbian...
may be because i grow up with such environment that i can tell which is strait and not.

But I am also like what you're describing. I don't feel jealous with other women when they are sexy. In fact I would tell a friend, guy or girl that I was with, that the girl is sexy and pretty. I don't look at handsome guys too... But anyway that is just my personality. I just don't want any guys catching me look at them

Thing is you can't always tell. Some are extremely obvious while others would surprise you. Evidently there is something in her behavior that's making you think "Lesbian" so the question is what makes it so? Never go straight out and ask someone
"Are you gay?" or anything like that. Trust me. Its not a good idea.

i also ask a friend once if he is gay and he said no... he even told me that he has a girlfriend... well that was my way to spill the beans.

They like to touch and hug you not in a friend way~ This is something anyone of us will have doubt to it. People in this group(the lesbian/gay) will say what is wrong with touching and hugging my girl/boy friends? I don't know how to say it but you will noticed the way they hug and touch you is a bit different than the normal friends do. I can't see such action. It is annoying and disgusting. Accept it?? My view is not at all...

I think your first clue is to ask her if she had any relationship with men before. Ask in a manner that you won't be caught that you are to discover who really she is. Then, ask her if you are looking good. Observe her comments on you and maybe in other girls too. Next, observe the way she wear clothes if she wears high heels, skirts or wear make-ups.But be considerate too in a manner that there are some girls who acts just boyish but are not really lesbian. And lastly, girl's instincts were really powerful. Listen to your instincts.

If you are close friends you should be able to ask her outright and let her know that it would make no difference to your friendship if she is a lesbian. The thing with close friends is that you should be able to discuss any thing at all without it hurting your relationship.

hi tess quinain I think if a female friend is way overly touchy
feely with you,more than is normal with other women friends.If'she wants to too close I would assume she is a lesbian I would find'a way to assure here you are not into lesbianism but will still
be her friend. One huge clue if she suddenly kisses you on the mouth not the check.I had one friend who was a lesbian and I had to tell her I was heterosexual but we did stay friends. we both worked at the same place.
