The New Year has come...

My dear Fellows.. It is 20 minutes past 12 am here... Just before 20 minutes I heard fire crackers and music and cheers... I sit here alone typing on myLot, my mind full of mixture of different feelings... I feel happy for the arrival of new year (why should I???) & yet feel sad that this solitude is not yet broken...
Happy New Year my dear fellow myLotters... May the new year bring joy, pleasure, happiness, success to your life... May the Heavens bless you with the best things in the world...

We have some wait until New Year here, friend. It´s 4 PM, but still in 2011. I am thinking what to wear to the party I am invited to. I already made the goodies I am taking and my friend will come to pick me up probably in 4 hours more.

Tsk..tsk..tsk....I just dunno what to say now. Encouraging words are not enough to console you now. Hope you have moved on by this time with this feeling. I'm just wondering, don't you have at least one friend to celebrate it with you? Or where is your family? I'm so sorry to ask. I guess you have posted it here somewhere about your personal background. :) If only we, your mylotter friends, could be there physically for you.

Happy new year too. Yes, the new year has come but u need not feel sad nor lonely. Do remember, at least u are safe and sound, having the luxury of staying home, in your comfort zone, unlike flood victims in philippines where they have no house, but yet they are celebrating it as if nothing has happened. COmparing yourself to them, u are much luckier and for that, u should feel glad and let their smile be infectious to u.

Hi Mr. Pearl,
You sound sad and I feel sad for your you. Where I am at it is just 12:30 am. I also rang in the New Year alone but I was ok with it. I did work until almost 11pm which was ok. I got to see a lot of very entertaining and amusing customers. I don't mind being alone. Usually though there is someone here when I get home but not this year. I'm sorry you felt lonley, Mr. Pearl.

Happy new year mr_pearl. I also felt the same way you did. I felt that celebrating the new year isn't as fun as it used to when I was still a child. I wondered how the fun and joy disappeared from me through the years and I felt a little sad. On the bright side though I made a new list of new year resolutions and I'll be very sure to make all of it a reality. Happy new year my friend and may you have a prosperous one.
