Just have fun chatting with folks about whatever interests you and don't think about the money part. You will get paid when it's time. You got paid for posting discussions, and responding to other people's discussions. You can picked the minimum payment to be either $10, $20, or more. Whenever you reach that amount, you will be notified such amount is reached, and it is sent to your paypal account. So, if you work extra harder, you might get paid more per day. Hi ANDY and welcome to myLot. For me, I usually earn by participating in discussions only. You can start a discussion or respond to others. When someone responds to your discussion or your response, you can comment back. And all of this earns you. Then there are tasks, some pay well, others don't. You can point on the tasks tab and select the 'Available' tasks. You also get paid for sharing photos and commenting on your friends' photos.

I truly have no idea, my first day yesterday I 'participated' a whopping 17 cents worth, not even a fraction of the minimum payout of 10.00. I'm curious as to how long it will take me to make payout, if I can make it, but in the mean time I'm just starting out like you, and like you I have a lot to learn. So far all of my 'participation' has been in the response area. I'm terrified of starting a discussion and I have no idea what to discuss. so for now I'm just wading in and responding. I guess my hopes are that if nothing else I'll meet some nice people that may become friends.
