I have a pile of clothes (5 loads worth) sitting on my bed waiting to be sorted and folded. I hate putting away the laundry, it is my most dreaded of all chores. I would prefer to scrub the toilets over having to match and fold the socks. IT is just so time consuming. But if i want to sleep tonight I need to go and get it done. ttfn.

I hate ironing. I enjoy doing all other types of household chores like folding clothes and the rest but when it comes to ironing, I am pissed off when doing it.

I honestly could not tell you the last time I ironed my clothing. I buy washable vs. dry clean, and am very careful to not let it sit in the dryer. If I know that I will not be home to take stuff out of the dryer than I will hang it to dry.

I hang mine in the house with an oscillating fan on low. During the summer I avoid using my dryer because it heats up my downstairs. I will sometimes lie things flat to dry and swap sides every hour or so.

I have some clothes that can do without ironing and others that you cannot wear without ironing. live in a condo where you cannot hang anything outside, so Iam left with no option than drying them using a drier.

I need to organize my closet, and do a little laundry. It is just a little harder bc our dryer is not working right now.

knock on wood everything is working right now. I almost like going to the laundry mat and getting all of my laundry done in one swoop. I did that in college and loved it.

I think that there are a couple of articles that I want to write that I have been putting up. More personally, I actually don't have many things to do. For the first time in years, I think that I ahead of the game. Be that as it may, I really think that is not going to be something that is really going to last for all that long. There are going to be a lot of times where things will pop up eventually and we are going to be caught off guard. It is really just best to get them done. There are just going to be a lot of times where we see these things and put them off. It would have been better off to really get them done. There is just something that drives us to procrastination, yet we still have to do the task, on top of every new task that pops up. So really there are going to be a lot of times where we are our own worst enemy with procrastination. Then again, time will make a fool of us.

Logically, I know that getting them done is better than just putting it off in the long run it will take more time to do it if I wait because there will be more added to the pile. I got it all done last night before bed, but then went and did another load of laundry this morning so I could really say it was all done before heading back with kids tomorrow. Just need to get that stuff folded and put away.

I don't do the laundry for quite sometimes, I let my old mother to do it. I know its bad but I really can't find energy and appetite to wash my own clothes. I just want to sit and watch television or play computer games whenever I'm at home.

Most times the laundry gets cleaned but is left in piles. I figure if it is clean than that is good enough. This year I am going to make more of an effort to get clothes back into dressers and outfits put together in the closet so I am ready to go more easily in the morning.

We have the same problem with procrastinating about. I also have a pile of clothes and some blanket sheets to wash. But still i'm not doing it. I would just say, "i'll just do that tomorrow". Yes, procrastination is my hobby, and i think that's a bad thing. LOL. I'll just respond to some of the discussion and later i'll do my chores.

I find myself saying just one more video or just one more response. And here I ask myself where does my daughter get it when it is time for bed. Obviously from me.

My suggestion is keep the laundry kept up on. If you accummulate 5 loads a week, try splitting them up. One load a day during the work week. Then it helps to free up your weekend. When you wake up before going to get ready, put a load in the washer. Before you leave for work or whenever its done put in dryer. Later on when you get home and get a little settled fold and put it away. Done and it shouldn't take more than 5 maybe 10 moinutes to do versus the time it takes for 5 loads. I hope you try it and see if it helps
