People worked for various purposes. But the main purpose is to make money. Indeed so. I am a hired employee. I stick with this office 9 hours a day. Sometimes, I feel very depressed. I want to leave the office a few days to hang out and relax. I sometimes do not feel like to work. But when the rest to be deducted from the salary, I tried to go to work. When you feel depressed at work, think of the money was leading last month, I feel more excited. The naked truth is reality! :D

You absolutely right. the main motive of working is to earn money. But there are many people in the world who like to work they just love work no matter what difficulties come before them. I just started working a few months ago, where I there is limited work force. I sometimes get bored because there is no work. Iam soon planning to quite my job. because I don't feel like iam working. Its like a same enviroment created when iam in home... it may sound Preety weird to hear but that's how how situation is going around me. So I wish I could get more worm and feel like iam working in a company.

In fact, work at a big company is easier and we have more than chances to develop. However, you much get more knowledge and more experience in order that you can get a job there. So, try your best at present, my friend. Wish you're lucky and success.

Hi Tkonline. Right you are about work. Our main purpose for work is to have money for the rainy days. We do get burned out at times when we work too much. Those times call for vacation leaves, as we are also responsible for our own sanity. We have to love our jobs all the more... just look at italy and the other european nations... recession is scary.

Depression is never a good thing. If your job (career) is making you feel like this then its time for a change. The feeling might go away with a vacation, but who is going to say it wont return after a you go back to work. Have you tried working at home. There are many opportunities to earn money online. Ways to make money online. 1. Write articles for others 2. Internet/Affiliate Marketing (Blogging for cash) 3. Paid Surveys (http;//offerscrate.com) or (http://cashinacrate.blogspot.com) 4. http://fiverr.com Offer a service online and people will pay you $5. There you go. Just a few ways to supplement your income so you can afford to take a bit of time off. Hope you feel better about yourself and if you fall...lets hope that you land on your feet.

That's right. I don't like my work, too. But, everytime I think if the bills I need to pay, the rent, food to buy, etc., I pick my self up and make my self report to work.

You should find a new job which you like it. Because there are too much stress in office outside work. If we don't like go to office, but we at least like my work. Wish you're happy!

Definitely, the main reason people work is to make money to pay for various things they want to own or activities they want to do. At the same time, I believe work should be an enjoyable experience. I think it's one of the worst things for someone to have a job they dislike. Or even if it isn't the person's ideal job, it should at least be a activity they can tolerate, not loathe. That's the biggest concern I have with getting a job. I had one job at a retail store, but I couldn't bare it. I felt so anxious working there between the customers and dealing with money at the register. I was seasonal, so I was able to leave without it being a huge deal. I really hope to get job I can love.

The basic purpose of working is certainly to earn the money you need to live, but there should be more to it than that. If you're spending 9 hours a day - approximately half your waking life - in work, then you really should be enjoying it. If you're not enjoying it, I suggest you find a line of work that you do enjoy, whether it's the work you're doing, the people you're working with or whatever. There are many ways to make money and life's too short to spend half of it in an environment that's getting you down.

Exactly! I also can't afford to not work right now because of all the bills to pay plus it provides my budget for travel . When I think of all the things I want to do and all the places I want to visit, it somehow energizes me to go to work. It gets hectic at times so I try to take a leave from work whenever possible.

Hello tkonlinevn, Indeed the main objective we go to work is for money.I am too like you a hired employee and have to sit in the office for 9 hours a day under lot of work pressure and listens to the boss for not meeting the targets daily *hehehe*.But still i cannot afford to leave going back to the work simply because i get money from it which is required to feed my self as well as my family.
