Friends i just tried to copy paste a discussion in mylot but it said i need to cross the 500 mark to do so? Why is it like that, Why is mylot not allowing new joiners or beginners to do so because they are the ones who need it most rather than the old members, And friends who have crossed that 500 mark have u ever copy pasted anything in mylot and how does that feel after waiting a lot to do so?

At first I looked at it as a negative. My speeling, I mean my spelling is notroious notious, I guess nauseous and I like using a word processor and pasting it in. However, I formed a habit of actually looking up words and learning them and writing in "real time" which actually helped me with my writing skills. I find though I appreciate being able to copy/paste still respond in the little box so it was not really a big deal for me after all. The other plus was I wanted to get to 500 as quick as possible. enjoy - you can respond to the comments you get if you like in your discussions :-)

I think it is to stop spamming... It makes sure that you do something valuable here rather than joining for spamming...

This is to keep you active here and also the excitement increases once you want to reach something right? Anyway, be careful with what you are copying and pasting here in mylot. We are not allowed to copy paste our response to every box, and kindly read the guidelines.

to copy something and upload it must have 500 posts. This is the rule here. this avoids a lot pligiatstvo as spam and so on. so you just have to wait to make 500 posts. Success is easy to do. welcome here! nice day!

It is so funny that you have the audacity to ask the members of a community on How To Spam. I think even at 500, you shouldn't be given the power to copy paste anything. I haven't ever done it. I wanted to copy paste some useful links before, but I type even that.

Well, it's like a reward for your loyalty and patience. When someone comes to Mylot just for quick cash, they soon find out that this is not a copy-paste forum and it requires a little bit of thinking and,a little bit of heart.Only those who are really serious about mylotting will pass this test and enjoy the benefits of this forum.I think it's pretty fair.:)

Nigildas they used to and so many cheated by copu pasting other peoples writing and causing mylot to delete them as doing this is committing plagiarism which is against mylot rules but al;so here in th e US it is illegal to do and can send uou to prison., you arenot ever to just copy a whole article and take credit for it as your own.articles that people write are cpyrighted and you cannot use them as your ownlthis against the US laws as well. You must r ead the article, then put into your own words what the article says to you. I rarely copy paste except when mylot whiskes away a discussion and I copy it then paste it but its always all my own work, I do not plagiarixe.

It clearly stated that it's to prevent from spamming, plagiarism, etc. Newbies or new comers usually never read the TOS, and they will do this and do that. What will happen with Mylot if that happened? Try to take a look blogger!

Not allowing the copy and paste option for newbies is one way of myLot to encourage you and me to write or comment original materials. Developing the latter habit will benefit us greatly by having our participation value increased.

adding to what queen_11 said, this rule is for all newcomers to prevent from merely coming here in this site to spam and try to earn from others work, which, is I think is fair and promotes originality. This kind of system in the site makes you earn money, equal to the amount of your "own" work and not just by "copying and then pasting" from others.

This could avoid some illegal activities like spams etc. Mylot were just protecting their site for any complaints and report. I am also new to this, and I am patiently waiting for the opportunity to copy and paste something in mylot.
