So, what did you guys think of Jericho´s return?
Many have called it underwhelming and boring. What did I think? Genius!! It was a perfect play with the audience; first making them overjoyed and after ten minutes of milking them, getting booed. I am looking forward to a fantastic heel run by Jericho. Next week he will ridicule those who cheered their saviour. I love it. But who is "she"? I am hoping for Steph. That could call for a great storyline!

first off, welcome to mylot!
glad to see the new people in the wwe section as it there was hardly any new discussions running here. anyway, i'm a big jericho fan. i think he is effective both as a face and a heel. i agree with the post above that jericho will most likely turn up as a heel. looking forward to his heel run again. the upcoming rivalry with cm punk will be great. big fan of both those wrestlers!!!
should be a good storyline that will run along until wrestlemania.
can't wait, hopefully, wwe creative doesn't spoil this one.

Hello, and thanks. I have been a member for 5 years, but not an active one :)
I too hope creative won´t crash it. I am still a bit grumpy when it comes to how they rushed "Summer of Punk 2", somehow making it end up with HHH and Nash. Let´s hope for the best storyline in ages!

Yes! I am so looking forward to see the guys going between face and heel stages too. It is so cool with Punk, he is the first of his kind since Austin (imho). Not being face but so beloved you´d think he is/was. SO what do you think; is "she" Steph? Did you see the wwe online special interview with Jericho, right after RAW? It was funny.

well, i'm glad that you're starting to be active nowadays. been a longtime mylot member as well and i do try to log in everyday and either answer in discussions or start my own. really better than going online and doing mindless stuff. with mylot, i get to earn and learn at the same time! how's that for a mylot plug?!!! lol!
anyway, yeah the summer of punk 2 was a bit rushed and i really felt that the rivalry between punk and hhh could have been worked more. anyway, jericho vs punk will surely be interesting to say the least. i can see both working the face-heel angle at the same time meaning at one tiem punk will be the face and jericho will be the heel and at other times, jericho will be the face and punk will be the heel. hopefully, they'll throw others in the mix as well like del rio, the miz, r truth, and even god forbid john cena and the rock in this jericho-punk rivalry to give it some depth and some change of pace.

Sorry to say, that was anything but genius. Here's why:
1. We all knew it was Jericho (not undertaker, not brock, not skip). The "chris" word gave it all away. The things in twitter was all a staged play.
2. As Randy Orton's injured, so is Christian, and with RAW getting face-heavy, it was obvious Chris was going to be a heel
3.(This might be a spoiler to some) Chris's going to feud with Punk for being "Best in the world"
Apart from this, am glad of Jericho's return. He's a genius on cutting promos and in the ring, a complete package.

To be honest I am not getting your point.. Are you one of the grumpy IWC guys? 1. Yeah, many knew, or guessed it was Jericho returning. 2. So? 3. Exactly. This is what I am looking forward too.
"He´s a genius on cutting promos..." Well, that was kind of my point, haha. You say he is genious at cutting promos, and I thought his "promo" if we can call it a promo was, well, genious. Just playing the audience. Sorry, but I don´t get your point.

On his return we expected more from Jericho, and what did he do?? Just run around, smiling ear-to-ear, no action?? For your kind information, I have never watched IWC. Just a hardcore WWE fan, and I wanted plain hardcore action. I dont blame Jericho, I blame the bookers and Vince.

Well, I advice you to watch the wwe.com interview I have mentioned further down. And wait til later to get the full point. There is a reason to his silence. He just played the audience. And based on the promos he might not be entitled to talk until "she" allows him. But sure, you are entitled to your opinion of course. I am just pleased they didn´t rush it straight from the start, which they usually do.
