I remember when I was kid, I always kissed my grandparents each time I went to school or going out with friends. My kids do the same thing- they kissed me goodbye and kissed me when they comes home. But,was it possible to kiss goodbye to someone you love (a partner who wants to leave- for goodbye) Or- you will not dare to kiss him/her because you are afraid you will never have the guts to tell "Goodbye" Does a kiss is enough to make someone stay? Or a kiss is a good way to bid goodbye! Have a good day everyone- NEVER KISS ANYONE GOODBYE !!!PLS! jaiho® - a kiss of a confused poetess 1/04/2011 5:57pm Wednesday

We are humans and we love to have love with each other. Sharing love or giving love is a symbol of Kiss. I think that Kisses make our relations true and quite long We people used to kiss the ones who are very close and who are more attached to us. Kisses decreases the distant between each other, which makes relations stronger. So keep love all the ones you love

I remember one goodbye kiss I had with my ex.... just a flash back. He broke with me because he's asking me to marry him secretly and I don't go his way. He said, he had a judge godfather and he will help us... I said no! We're just 3 months being on and he wanted us to get married that fast... the nerve! I think he just want a permit to go all the way hahaha! Of course I won't allow it. He's a co-employee then. That night, after my shift at 10pm he drove me nowhere in Tagaytay. We worked then half hour from Tagaytay. The broke-up happened just inside the car. Then, he make me home safe in my parents homeplace in Makati. It's 3am I remember, before I went off in his car, we kiss lightly as goodbye! I'm not that in-loved to him yet but I like him very much and I have my values to think of. And I think he will not be a good husband to me just in case because he's so much a night guy. We always had a late night date in a bar which I don't like much. I hate the smoke hanging around the bar. And he drive though he's drunk... I don't like that! I still remember the kiss untill now, it's full of heartaches! I like him very much but I don't want to give myself to him because I'm not sure that he will be a good husband to me knowing his some attitudes loving the bar. hahaha... I still remember the guy... But in fairness to him, we're friends in FB now. In his photos, I think he's been a good father to his child and a loving husband to his wife. Maybe I just misjudged him. Sorry! My husband and that ex of mine were been in the same department then hahaha... and the girl my ex married was also an employee in our company then. What a small world huh!

Hi jai I never kiss someone goodbye, it will only add up to the hurt I will feel. If I need to say goodbye to special someone, I would just leave. I won't ever have the guts to kiss him goodbye as it will only make me want to stay and not let him go.

Yeah, it's hard, especially you know that kiss will be the last kiss to him/her . When my girlfriend broke up with me, I kissed her for the very last time, just to make her feel that even though she ended up our relationship, I'll be always here to love her. :(

Dear sister, My kids do it when they go to school and the elder one is very particular, if he forgets (when getting late) then he may comes back for sure. For your question, 'Does a kiss is enough to make someone stay?' I am really confused... and it may be depends on the situation only. Have a great time to you my sister.

Goodbye kiss? A kiss for someone before he/she leaving you and then he/she will never come back?? HUh, I think I won't leave a kiss for him. It will only make him to stay and not leaving. But when it is time to go just go. A kiss does not important anymore~ Giving a kiss to someone you love but then he will going to leave you, I think I will feel more hurt. So just walk away~(^^)

I don't think that a kiss would make a difference if someone wanted to leave permanently. I also think a kiss could sometimes complicate things. But if you love someone, you would not want to leave, you would always want to kiss them. Now if you ere kissing your partner when going to work, that's different, because you will be able to kiss your partner when you get home.

I'm not familiar with goodbye kiss, but surely, when I have to go far in long time and get one from my mothers, it feels so deep and make me want to cry, especially with the fact that I and my mother never had good communication and rarely speak each other....

Here in my country- a kiss is a common tradition. Kissing parents-siblings before going to school or before going out with friends. And kissing parents once back home... Kissing before bedtime also is a tradition- kissing parents-siblings and elders. Kissing friends is very common as well... This is all about check kissing or check to check as sign of kiss.

I always don't kiss my husband when he is leaving for abroad. I just always drop him by the airport and go out as fast as i can and so as he. We both know that he will go back after a year but still it hurts. How much more if you know that the person is not coming back.Ouch. That really hurts and i am not so brave to do that.

Good day jaiho2009, Giving a kiss goodbye is a way that people show their love. It isn't a goodbye forever, just a goodbye for now, when we kiss our kids or spouse. What you are talking about when saying you kiss your spouse goodbye, you are talking about forever, correct? Of course when you are saying goodbye to your spouse forever it isn't going to be a good thing so you wouldn't kiss them goodbye. Usually when there is a break up it is in anger and who wishes the other luck when you are angry or hurt by the other by their wanting to leave you. I think that would be a pretty hard thing to do for anyone. I was married for 8 years and my husband was unfaithful many times so when we split there was no way I would kiss him goodbye and wish him luck. Then recently I broke up with my second husband after 13 years of marriage and I left because he bankrupted us with his gambling and so I was angry and no way would I kiss him goodbye and wish him luck either. So this, to me, is weird that a person would kiss their ex goodbye. Cheers and happy mylotting my friend Talk to you soon, Chris

hello chris, I also did the same thing, 8 years ago (break up) And I never kissed him goodbye. It's my choice after he cheated me _nth times (yes,I am too generous to forgive him that many times) and he is too confident I would cling to him forever. but one day I woke up and realized how fool I am. (duh- hahaha- not too late I guess) Now I am happy being single and free

Hi jaiho: I think that you can say too many things with just a look or a kiss so I think that kissing someone is a lovely way to say goodbye and expressing this person how much you are going to miss him/ her. So even if it could hurt I would kiss a person as a way to express my love and appreciation when we won't see each other for a while. ALVARO

Thank you so much for sharing about your tradition of kissing, in my family, it is either 'touching feet' if older than you, or 'namastey' with folded hands.. No handshake, no kisses!! Kiss might be enough for some one to stay, though i am not sure.. Hugs from Papa

I don't even remember when I did the last. Yes, yesterday nigh also. My daughter, she got this funny nature to say that 'keep safe distnce' to her brother (my eldor son) and my wife and myself (her mom & papa) are welcome for it. However, when she goes to school I never get it because, I would be sleeping. But getting a kiss from my daughter is all depend on her mood. If she want get done some work/job from me (mostly signing the progress report, getting some sweets etc) she is so lovable and will give as much of kisses but her work should get done. So, this is what I get regularly and the rest all are in dreams. Thank-s
