how do i get saved?

hmm this is an interseting question. this is the most important question a non believer would ask. it is quite simple to get saved. there r no rules or fancy ways of doing it, u just have to be genuine when u ask Jesus to come into ur heart. in the Bible Jesus says, "14 Let the children come to me.Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. 15 I tell you the truth, anyone who does not recieve the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it." Mark 10:14-15. so if we come to Him with childlike faith, we will enter in to His Father's Kingdom. the prayer does not save u, its ur dedication to God and ur choice to follow Him for the rest of ur life. in John 14:6 Jesus says,"6 I am the way, the turth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." so this means in order to get into the Father's Kingdom, we first have to have His Son in our hearts. and in order to do that we have to come as we r, sinners. everyone is equal no one is flawless or perfect or better than anyone else. Romans 3:10 talks about how no one is righteous. Romans 3:10 says,"10 As the Scriptures say,"No one is righteous- not even one."" so see none of us is better than the other cuz we r all sinners. Romans 3:23 and 5:12 talk about how we all have sinned. Romans 3:23 23 "For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard." 5:12 12 "When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned." wow amazing how all of us fall short of the glory of God. none of us r righteous at all. and if we r not saved, our sin brings us to an eternal death. to explain this i am going to use Romans 6:23. Romans 6:23 23"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." the free gift of God? what is that? the free gift of God was his Son. i will explain with Romans 5:8. Romans 5:8 8"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." wow how amazing is that? God loved us so much that He sent His precious Son to us here on earth so He could die for our sins. in John 3:16 it explains y God sent His Son to die for our sins on the cross. John 3:16 16" For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. see he loved us so much (and he still does)that he sent his one and only Son to us. he wants us to confess our sins and to come to him like a child and believe in him. Romans 10:9-13

Repentance, surrender your serpent seed our your own will, and be obedient to the will of the Father . In fulfillment of Mathew 7:21. "Not all that saith unto me LORD, LORD, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that DO the WILL of my FATHER who is in HEAVEN.

Thank you friend. I had forgotten that one too. I was trying to post the scripture up there because my fingers were becoming sore from all the typing I had done already, but I found out that you have to be at a certain ranking to paste things on here. That made me sad, but I posted the rest of it to one of my Facebooks, and got a big argument just from one person. Man, I wish you could have seen it. I had a pagan and a Christian brother from Malaysia backing me up, and the one person just went off on them. It was quite amusing to watch the comments just fly up there. By the way, what Bible do you read, like what version?

Amen! There is one thing that we as believers must keep in mind, and that is to pray specifically for those we know who do not believe.

Yes AMEN! For a year I prayed that my boyfriend would become saved and sure enough he came to visit my family and I over Christmas break. On January 1st he was talking to my mother about the difference between Catholicism and Christianity. I didn't stay awake the whole time they were discussing the topic, but she lead him to Christ using the Roamn's Road of Salvation. When I did wake up he explained everything to me and I was so proud of him, I still am :). Right now I am trying to save up money to go see him graduate from bootcamp, but i am having no luck at all. Please pray that I will be able to go see him graduate, this is very important to him and I really want to be there to support him.
