I have earned 6.25$ today taking surveys

I have registered for a lot of these free survey sites and till today I did not have much success.. Since I am from India I get mostly screened out after a lot of questions which is quite irritating.
Today I had 3 survey invitaions - one on tablets and smartphones , the second on some luxury hotles and third was healthcare related.. I dint get screened out for the first two surveys and made 6 $ and the last one I got .25 $ even after screening out..
I am relaly happy that finally I am getting something.. But I really wonder if in the future I will be able to get more surveys like this and reach payout .. Keeping my fingers crossed :)

3what site is that? i am also from india. i never succeeded in survey sites till now. share that site name for me here. if it is having any referral earnings, you can also refer me.

I am on GTM too but all I'm seeing is the points and I always got screened out

Hi enelym001 I had 8 straight screen outs and when I got the survey invite today I though to myself- Chuck it !! I am anyway going to get screened out.. but today was my day :)

Thank you for the information. Can you say whether I can utilize my knowledge in homeopathic medicine, I myself being a homeopathic practitioner for the last 25 years. I hope if I get the chance, I may satisfy the site with my professional knowledge in the said subject.

Heh doctordidi the site's name is Global Test market.. It is quite easy to join and you need to fill your profile surveys after joining and then hope for some surveys based on your interests..
They send you surveys based on what information you have filled up and you need to answer the surveys as honestly as possible.. If you qualify for a survey and complete it you get usually 2-4$ per survey. But If you screen out you get 25 cents.. Cheers :)

You can mention it and GTM will send you relevant surveys. But I am not sure my friend.. But I do know this there are certain panels only for specialists. Do check out Aone Healthcare panel.. Cheers

Hi emdjay23 I woudl advise you to keep your profile surveys up to date and make changes according to the latest info.. For instance you might have bought something recently , but while filling the original profile survey you might not have included that in the list of items you posses.. ( I recently bought a I pad 2 and updated my profile survey ) and in a weeks time I got one survey based on tablets for the Indian market.. Just keep your profile updated and hope for the best.. Hmmm true ipanel does not give you anything..I have got screened out a lot there too.. Hope we can do better in the future..

i am in GTM as well and got a survey once a month i guess it would vary on location as well and now just earned almost 200 points on it..most surveys i got i was screened out...still waiting for more luck to come too :) congrats to you...

Wow - I almost always get screened out. I think in the last 5 years, I have made less than $2 doing surveys. Part of this is because I have given up on a lot of surveys.

I see my friend you are from Canada and I have heard that a lot of opportunities are open to US/ Canada residents .. So I think you should take a look again.. Hi aman1981 I meant I have got 125 points( equivalent to 6.25 $) today.. As you know I can get the cheque only when I can get 1000 points---50 $.. I need 840 more.. I just hope it is quick :) cheers :)

I used to work on the survey sites till i did not register on MYLOT and the site where i used to be more active was TOLUNA and really it was difficult for INDIANS to just qualify for the surveys and moreover the payout for it was too high to reach
.I worked on it for around 3~4 months and then quit with frustration and now i am no nore active on any of the survey site as it takes lot of time to complete surveys with end result ZERO.

Hi sjvg1976, I think trying to qualify for these surveys has really taught me one thing : patience.. I too get really frustrated every single time I get screened out.. BTW I have not joined Toluna, but seeing what you have told I dont think I will join now too.. Jut hoping to get better opportunities in the future :) cheers :)

I'm not that lucky on survey sites that's why I don't put more time on them. 'Though whenever I receive surveys from GTM I try to answer it. Unfortunately I always get screened out so I only get 5 points.

That's nice. I had registered for more than 6-7 sites but no opportunities came my way.
I guessed it was because of my age, and a little bit because of the region. So I bailed out soon, hope you can earn well from there Ashwin.

Hmm thanks you for your kind words.. I suggest you dont bail out but try updating your profile in these sites once again and add their mail to your mail id contacts.. sometimes their mails might get filtered by spam blockers.. After this you still may not get surveys, but then there are better chances they will send you some surveys to your inbox directly which you can attempt..Cheers :)

i have read some bad review from that site. They said you will take a year to cash out. And of course that is very long just for $50. Do you think it is a waste of time?
I am looking for a site that suitable for me. Just doing some rating or short review to a product or anything else.. can you help me to have that site?

Since I live in India I really cannot depend on only one site.. I believe in numbers and hence have joined around 20 sites hoping that I will get atleast one or two survey per day from all of them together ..
As for you friend I think why dont you try shvoong? I dont use it but you get paid for reviews.. I think you should check it out. ATB.. Cheers :)

oh I hope if anyone here is earns money will tell us about the good sites they joinded and earned also, and not the bad sites they rejects anyone, I know some sites also dont accept international writers and members, which is not good thing really, all have good luck

Survey sites really cater to US residents. Of course you could find a site like http://offerscrate.com and refer others to the site. That is one way to make money. There are members that make a few hundred a month using the referral program. Just wanted to point that out. If you would rather read more information then check out http://cashinacrate.blogspot.com
