I bought a juice machine and they laughed me

Lately there is a big discount for Braun juice machine from Amazon. So I bought it. But my colleagues laughed at me since they didn't think it was necessary. I know that we can eat the oranges by cutting it into pieces or peel them. Or we can use the common juicer to make the orange juice. I like juice but it is hard to make it well by hands. Why not let the machine do it. It can be done better in a short time. I think it is a useful electrical appliance at home. What do you think?

You can make some very good smoothies and blended drinks. Add some powder protein and bee pollen and such. Let your colleagues eat their oranges any way they want and just snicker as you drink an entire meal in a smoothie.

@Marty1 ...You can find honey on the same isle with peanut butter and such. Bee pollen is what is brought back from flowers to the queen. The honey is made at the hive. I like clover honey. Try to get the unpasteurized, that is the purest type and most nutritious.

That's a good brand my friend, and a good investment too.Why bother about what your friends are saying, they are not the one who will use it. Now you can drink fresh juice from your juicer in minutes. I was thinking of buying too, but I have to save first.

Yeah, your right and your friends are not. And to think that you have bought it with discount, your lucky to have found it on sale.

Some Kitchen Gadgets would be "Must Have" items, others not so much..I was reading an article about the rise and fall of the sandwich toaster this past week, how they were a popular gift at one time, and now many homes still having one would have it in a cupboard (for the most part) gathering dust..I do love freshly squeezed juice myself, but the idea of buying, peeling and preparing the quantity of fruit to feed into the machine, then the hassle of cleaning the thing before using it next would be the stumbling point for Me..So for me it's cartons of juice or eating an orange or other fresh fruit instead..I do hope you enjoy using it!

The last time I saw a Juicer, someone using it managed to throw the juicing part out with the pulp after using it-hopefully yours is easy to work with and longer lasting!

The customers say it is easy to clean the juicer and this is why it is another factor for me to decide to buy it.

I think the orange juice made with juice machine on your own is better than the bought which they have added some preservative to it.I am not sure if the common juicer you mentioned is used by hand.

I like to drink apple juice rather than eat directly. That is why I also have juice machine. I completely agree with you, for making a juice, an appliance can save time and our energy to do it. It is more homogenous and juicy.

I guess you must have to invite your friend for a home visit so that you could offer him/her your juice, drink together and start a nice conversation!

Oh, to have a juicer is my long time dream that up to now it is still a dream. Well if you think it is necessary to have one, I don't see anything wrong having one. So let your colleagues have their laugh and go on with your passion. You can invite them to have a glass of juice made out from your juicer and let them react afterward.

It is good to own a juicer to inspire us to drink fresh juices everyday. Maybe your friends are ignorant the importance of juicing or maybe they prefer to use the blender to make fruit juice. So they think there is no need to buy a juicer when you can use the ordinary blender.

I like fresh orange juice in the morning, but sometimes orange are not that cheap so it becomes expensive at times! I also think that I might only use the juicer for few months until the excitement were over and then it'll just stay in the cabinet, though it is still nice to know its there whenever you want it!

Since right now it is the orange season, so it is not that expensive. Whereas other fruits like grapes and apples are much more expensive than oranges.

You have made a good investment in your juice machine. It is convenient and practical for making a good juice. My grandmother used to have one. She mixed fruits and vegetables using her juice machine. It was very tasty and good juices.

Me and my mom have been planning to buy one for a long time. We have one before but it's already broken. Yes it could be a little tiring juicing out the fruits manually. So better to peel it off and slice it and make the machine juice it. Maybe your friends are not fond of fruit juices so they find it not useful.

Hi Youless, That's a good brand! If I see that too, I will buy it for sure...Drinking orange juice is different, of course, from eating it. What if I wanted to make fresh orange juice to have something to drink while eating bread, right? :)

Dear Youless! When you feel that it is difficult for you to make juice by your hand and since you has a good discount on the juicer, I think there is no point now to think about it! You have taken a conscious decision and it was not a impulsive purchase from your side, so in opinion you really shouldn't bother about your friends what they say about it! If had I been in your place, I would have just taken their comments very lightly and would have forgotten the comments with a simple smile! Now you have bought the juicer, buy some oranges and have some fresh juice from them and enjoy yourself with your family! LOL! Best of luck! Thanks !

I just got one for Christmas. I don't think it's anything to laugh about. I love making fresh squeezed citrus juices and even fresh squeezed lemon and lime aide. Yes you can eat the fruit, but how is juicing your own oranges any sillier than buying orange juice to drink at the store?
