i love to take pictures especially ones of my son. i bought a digital camera ( a very cheap one) when my son was born so i could take pictures and upload them to my facebook page. I dont know much about cameras at all but i do know i didnt choose a very good one. when i get my tax refund, i plan to get another one. if anyone could offer suggestions as to a good camera, they are welcome. i dont want one with the following problems of my current camera: serious delay-when i see my son doing something funny ie making a funny face or etc, or smiling, i try to capture that image only to get a very crappy one like a blurred image or my son looking as if he is high or drunk) i need one that can capture images in the moment, color is horrible even after being adjusted. I want a good camera to capture action shots, good color shots, and one that doesnt have a delay. (i want sharp images) without paying a buttload of money. please give me suggestions if this discussion has not confused you too much.

I like a camera that has a fantastic zoom. I recently bought a new camera. It is compact yet it has a great zoom. It has 14 million Mega Pixels. I like taking photos of people like my family and friends. I love taking photos of wildlife and my pet dogs. I adore taking photos of landscapes when I am on my travels.

Taking photographs is a wonderful way to build memories, however there is a problem that not enough people are printing off their photographs anymore, and many of them are simply getting lost and never get to be seen by anybody at all. When I have children, I have decided that I am going to have a photo album from each year of their life, beginning firstly with photographs from their birthday. This means that I will be able to get the highlights of their life, but will still have all of the other photographs to look at whenever I feel as though I would like to do so.

To be honest I do not have the passion to take pictures. I do so only in special situations, using the mobile phone that has built-in camera with 2 megapixel lens (very poor). Three years ago, however, my brother bought a 12 Megapixel Olympus, used it to take more than 100 photos during my Stay in Spain in April 2011. The machine has been paid 90 euros (approximately $ 115) and for use it that I do, I'll settle for that after all it was bought on the cheap. Maybe find some other member of Mylot, fond of pictures that might give more precise details.

i plan to buy my own digital camera too..i would love to have my own so as to take pictures of events, gatherings, my kid, or just about anything and share it to facebook for family and friends..how many megapixels does your digital camera have? i think the higher the megapixels the better and quality of images are captured..

I suggest you buy a canon, It will never let you down. Even there cheap digicams are superb like. I bought powershot e1 way back 2008 and as of today it still runs smoothly. Or better yet, since manufacturers are giving out affordable prices for dslr why not get one! Canon 1100D is cheap and for sure it will serve you better especially on capturing precious moments! :)
