Bayern is looking for new defender and forward in this january

i read in portal news, that Bayern want to look for new defender and forward..
whats up with their defender and forward??
i think it`s good players now in the bayern squad..
they had Mario Gomez and Ivica olic, even i know that olic maybe will move Bayern munchen..they still had Thomas muller which can be playing as forward..
defender??they had a best defender in germany league..so why they are not satisfied with their squad??
is it champions league as their reason??

I am surprised they are in the market for a striker. Given the form of Mario Gomez, I thought they would not really go in for a striker in this window. Defense I am not sure. Probably our friend Rappetter can comment on this.

yes, actually iam waiting him..where is he now?? he is so busy with another site and maybe slow but sure leave us here
if iam not wrong there are another good forward in bayern munchen and use jersey number 9 (i dont know the name)..he is future forward too for Munchen..

I dont think beyern need to buy a forward atleast as they have the best striker in the world who is at the best possible goal scoring form right now. Only if olic moves to another club then maybe they require to find a backup striker.

I don't think Champions League is the sole reason for them wanting to strengthen the team. Every champion winning squad will be constantly looking out for players who can improve the team and take them to the next level. The last thing a club should do is to rest their laurels.

It's always good to have more players than less. When there's injuries building up in the team, there would be enough cover to help them last the season. Most good teams would have planned ahead on what their squad needs and if they were to buy during the mid season transfer market, it can only mean the team might be low on confidence and needs signing of some good players to assure the entire team.
