Music while working..

I have started working as a design analyst in a software firm. They allow their staff to hear music while working. I already have such a habit of hearing music while studying or reading. So i am very much happy on working in such an atmosphere. But when i enquired on other companies(neighbour companie of mine) , they doesn't allow such a thing.To me this way of working is a good one.It will release the tension building on employees up to an extent .What do you think mylotters . And what about your company.Does they allow music while working or not?

In my line of work, listening to the music is completely prohibited. Because safety is prioritized. Working in a Construction Company is dangerous. Specially the tools that surrounds you can harm you if you don't pay attention to it. But we tried to listen music specially during break time to feed our souls.

I do not work in an office, but I can have music, as long as I can hear the people I need to work with. Music is a small benefit but it can help make the employees happy.

hello,
Yeah, without music is really boring I love music and I used to listen to it because it relieves my stress. I wish if I work I also can play music because while I am here in mylot I am listening to music "Rihanna" ha ha,, It makes me feel relax and inspired.

Music is allowed in the office as long as it don't disturb other co-workers.I always have music while working cause it really help a lot,it sometimes relax or motivates us.Music is part of our daily life.
