My friend went to th movies yesterday and saw The Devil Inside, he said that it was one of the worst movies he ever saw. I have seen the commercials and I have a hard time believing that it was bad. If you saw it could you please tell me what you though of it.

Hm, that's weird. I thought it would have been good too. But maybe it gives away all the good parts in the previews and the rest of the movie is kind of slow and boring. I remember I wanted to see The Rite because the commercials made it look so good but when I actually saw it it was boring and I was really disappointed. But, I don't go by what people say about movies, I just see them and decide for myself. There have been movies that people hated and I loved and there have also been movies I've hated but everyone else loved. It all depends on you. So if you really want to see it, don't let other peoples' opinions stop you. If you end up seeing it, let us know how it was!

Yeah. I heard this movie received bad reviews. You know it hard to say because religious horror movies don't normally get good reviews. Exorcism usually follow Catholic mythology and Catholic Church isn't so popular these days. Although from the commercials it looked liked Blair Witch type quality so maybe that is the reason it received bad reviews. I'm waiting for it on Netflix.

I know several people who have seen it and none of them had anything good to say afterward. One friend said she was being dragged to it but her approach was to expect it to be horrible so that she might be impressed by mediocrity. I am really sick of this mockumentary trend that has been growing bigger and bigger lately. Just make a movie into a movie and stop trying to pass things off as "actual footage." I have stopped even wanting to see any of them because in their attempt to make things look "gritty" and "real" they just end up looking "cheap" and "lazy" instead.
