i hide in my room to try to get peace and quiet. everyone comes in here to pester me. can you not see the door is closed?? or even if the door is open, i don't have my tv on. i don't want to be bothered with. my client takes a lot of energy from me, with her mother being gone this week, i'll be putting in extra hours. so i definitly need quiet time to unwind and relax. but as soon as my husband picks me up, he's got all his issues to dump on me. then it's the kids' turn. then i'm bombarded as soon as i get home between my mother and my sister. then here comes the children's father....uuuuggghhh!!!!!!!!!!! i want my alone time!!!!!!!!!!

I guess, everyone wants their time alone. Where no one will bother you about anything. You can do that by going into your bedroom and locking the door. Maybe you can buy a signage, where you can hang outside the door when you don't want to be disturbed yet, even if everybody has already arrived. Or better yet, talk to them that when they see the door locked , they should not come in because you are resting. Tell them you will go out once you are done resting.

i don't have a lock on my door. :( even when the door is closed, they'll knock on it once and then open the door. :( i keep telling them that they're going to be surprised one day as i might be in the middle of changing clothes. they just shrug their shoulders like they don't care. :(

Well, my friend, it's time that you put a lock from the inside of the room. That way, you can have your "time alone". I like having my time alone in our bedroom too. I get to pray, cry, watch TV, read , sing-along a DVD, dance and do what i like during my solitude. I always have this after work, when husband is still in his own work.

now that my sister, nephew and mother have moved out, i'm starting to get some quiet time. especially after the husband leaves for work and the kids have gone to bed. i really had a bad day yesterday so most everyone split from the house to let me cool off. today has been a lot better. i'm even taking time to get to know my daughter's boyfriend and my son's girlfriend. they know that's a big step for me. now as i sit here, both men are asleep, daughter's at work, my son, his brother, his gf and her son are in the room watching tv and playing with cars peacefully. so relaxing......

I definitely do like having some alone time, some time just for myself. It's something that I find that I need from time to time. It's nice to be able to have. I've always enjoyed having alone time, quiet time for myself.

We all need time to be alone sometimes especially when we feel like we've had enough of the busy times with all the people around us. It's not that we want to avoid them but I think we must also need time for our own selves to relax and forget the things that bother us. I hope you will feel better as you unwind and get your alone time.
