Are you having a Healthy Sleep..?

I ve read in many articles, that a human sleeping for an average of 8 hours will live for 55 years and more... Sleeping for 8 hours will prevent the following, 1) Reduce Hairfall 2) Increases Iron strength in your Body 3) Increases WBC in your blood 4) Vitamin will be properly utilized from your food... But due to the fast moving world we dont even think about sleeping of 8 hours, which is many more important,,, So here... How many hours do you sleep daily...? ( I sleep for an average of 7 hours ) Cheers..!! V

It varies from day to day Vinoth.. Even I have heard of all these good effects of a good sleep but find it difficult to get 8 hours sleep everyday.. I sleep for 7 hours during weekdays but make it a point to sleep atleast 9 hours during weekends..Cheers

Ha ha .. That is a nice way to put it .. My early work timings and the new mylot addiction are contributing to lesser sleepign hours during weekdays .Cheers

Well it varies for me. Usually I sleep 6-8 hours. Sometimes I only have 5 hours of sleep. Oh I got a bit scared by that. I want to live longer of course.

enelym001, Ofcourse every1 wants to live more years, but they dont aware of the effect of sleeping less time... Its no problem running Money minded, but we should give some more time to our mind to get peace... enelym001, may you live more than 100 Years.. Cheers, V

i have daily sleep for 8 hours.yes i like sleep in every day.when i sleep good with out dreams.i can get good feel that means when i wakeup i can feel very fresh.

I try to get as good of a night sleep as I possibly can. I try to get at least 6 or 7 hours of sleep a night. However, sometimes it can get a little tricky, especially with a newborn. But my husband and I do the best that we can.

Eight hours of sleep is good for energy and refreshing to the mind and body. You are right with the fast moving world we don't have time to sleep much. I always awake early and go to bed late, so on average I am getting about 5 or 6 hours sleep.

i usually sleep between 6-8 hour,and maybe more in weekend. but it's not important only the amount of hours, it's also important the part of the day when you sleep. for example the sleep between 10-12 pm it is the most refreshing,meanwhile even if you sleep 8 hours but you sleep between 10 am -6 pm you will feel more tired. also if you sleep more than 10 hours a day is not healthy.

I sleep a lot! 8 to 9 hours and when i have time at weekends i reach to 10!I like sleeping and i always go to sleep early if i have to get up in the morning.I can do otherwise. I need the sleep. If i sleep less than 8-7 hours then i feel tired all the day.

I am scared of what will happen to me. I admit I only have little time to sleep. This is because I am always in the internet all the time and I am busy with my studies. Sometimes I get enough sleep. I maintain a healthy diet. Hope I will live more than 55 years.

on an average i sleep about 6 to 7 hours in a day to be healthy. Sleeping is must for person.

hello, That is true when my doctor prescribe me to sleep 8 hours of sleep since I am low blood and when I have a proper sleep I got my menstruation regular. Maybe now I know what are the other things can do of 8 hours sleep. That is great because it has a lot of benefit. Thanks for sharing!
