Did you ever drop something and you know it has to be right there but you just can't find it till 10 minutes later you step on it....OUCH. I had a nail coming out of the bathroom wall this morning and it fell on the floor, I looked all over for it and gave up and jumped in the shower. Then when i got i just took a few steps and stepped right on it....OUCH. Did you ever drop something and never found it again........?

I know what you mean. I've just begun beading, it's a sort of occupational therapy . I know when I've dropped a bead I'm trying to string and I pick that one up but later, I discover quite a few behind my chair...where the heck did they come from?? I also had two ends on the table in front of me yesterday, ready to complete a project...when I went to start, one was missing. I went down to the floor with my lamp to find it and there's no sign of it...I search and search and still can't find it. So, I put stuff away till later and let my blood pressure subside a bit. Later, I go to get another one and the second of the first pair is also missing!! At least I didn't tread on them and injure them or me. The puppy probably ate them.

I have dropped something many times, it is never in the place where you look. I also have stepped on things that I was looking for. I had a pair of glasses that had no frames, so when ever they were dropped it was difficult to find them. I stepped on them once. Needless to say they were never the same after that I also have dropped things and don't find them for months.

Yes, and at my house it is usually straight pins or needles, although the occasional screw works its way to the floor as well. Take care of the wound if it broke the skin. How long has it been since you had a tetanus shot?

Shots and needles do not seem to bother me much. I hope you do not get any nasty germs.

Me and shots don't get along, it's been about 36 years since I had a shot

omg I hope you arent hurt :(( Well that has hapened a lot to me. I keep looking for the things I need like at that moment.. and then i loose my mind looking for it but it wont be there. And as a result I'll just use something else as it's replacement but as soon as I've finished with that project or whatever, the thing I was looking for will be right infront of my eyes

Hello missy bear ! I did actually miss my id as it fell beside my bed and I had to make a new one as I presumed it was lost for good. A year later or so I found the old one and destroyed it, and the only thing good about it is that the second one had a better picture of me unlike the first one where I had blue under my years (as if I had earrings).

Maybe you should clean under your bed more often, I need a new ID really bad. Mine is still from 1996 but I like the picture cause I'm way younger

It has sort of happened to me a couple of times but not exactly having dropped something. It concerns actually staple wires. I've this bad habit of checking if a stapler has staple wire in it not by opening it but pressing it to see if a staple wire would come out. And when it does shoots out one, I can't seem to find where the wire went. And yep, a few minutes later, I either step on it or sat on it. The latter one be a bit more stingy :)

It always happens to me, not only dropping... I just know that I have kept it few minutes ago.. and I cant find it. I know I had kept it there but yet its not there. I am not old at all and not that I have a bad memory, I am really good at remembering things but somehow this always happens to me, maybe I am too careless and always dreaming elsewhere!! Its very annoying because its fallen right near you, yet you cant find it!! I feel at times giving up because when I do thats when I find it. When I go all crazy and look for it, I cant find it!

That's what I do, step away for a little while and then all of a sudden you see it. And I know what you mean by knowing that you put something somewhere but you can't find it...happens to me
