Life Changing

Well since I was last on here my life has changed dramatically. In October I split up with my boyfriend of over 10 years and I am now living on my own for the first time ever. I'm happy to be living on my own except at times it does get quite loney. As I'm still out of work, during the day when my friends are at work is the worst time as I can't just phone them up or arrange to meet up. But it does have many plus points - I can watch what I want on TV, I eat whatever I want for my dinner, I can come and go as a please, no one nags me to go to sleep, no one moans if it's messy, no one moans about me going out and spending money. The other reason it's lonely is I'm living in a flat that has no outside space and only one neighbour, who although no trouble is known locally as one of the undesirable characters. So I'm not got to make friends with the neighbours and be in and out borrowing cups of coffee and arranging nights out. So now that the rush of Christmas has gone and I'm about 95% sorted in the flat, I'm going to be spending more time on here as I really do desperately need some cash to put towards bills and help me get fully sorted in the flat. I need another smallish bookcase to house my ever growing DVD collection and if I'm honest I thing I will also need a overspill area for my books too. So if anyone has any wonderous tips to save money when living on your own that I don't know please share them with me.

It can get lonely living on your own but you can get lonely when you have a lot of people around you, when I get lonely I sometime go visit one of my many married friends and I am always glad to get home saving is a little hard but at least you only have to buy to please yourself.
