The Little Things in our Life

We all want to live better and seek to make changes in our lives. There are many of the so called self help systems with advice how to turn our mind upside down and experience radical changes. But we seldom think about the little things that could help us get this positive thinking which is the core to all of those efforts. Yesterday, going home from work late in the night, I raised my head towards the sky and I spotted a beautiful star. It was the reward for my hard day. But how often do we think to lead our eyes out of the usual path? What do you think about this? Can you point out other little changes in our daily routine that could make a difference in our lives?

Since I work on shifting basis, I don't really have a routine work everyday. And that's why I love my job...because I won't get bored doing such things all over again at the same time similar with office jobs.. Anyways, there are times when I just want to have that curve line and have fun like going on to a vacation or challenging myself to a new experiences. And I see that it created a really difference in my life. I am not into like that before...it is just now that I see the happiness every time I travel. I traveled a lot last year...domestic...and I was hoping I will also do that now..but I am focusing on improving my career and I need money on that. I am hoping for the best. Have a great day.

Hi, Smurfysmurf, thanks for sharing this. I don't have a routine work schedule too. Some days I have to get up early or work until late at night but I like this. I like to travel too! This is not easy, you need money, but I hope that this year I'll be able to travel more. I wish the same to you!

It's really good to travel like once in a while...but it's kind a expensive. Though we have promos in here but compared to before, they charge more which is still expensive. And I need to save more than anything else...so I am controlling myself on not to avail one or book myself. ^^

Personally I often think it is the little things in life that really helps make ones day, and help us to stop and think and appreciate what we have. I know myself since I started working with the homeless via the Homeless Ministry my husband and I are doing thru our church, it has helped me to be more positive and appreciate things. I know since I have been where they are, I tend to many times forget just where I came from, and how God has brought me to where I am today.
