The Horrible Bus experience

Early this morning (January 18, 2011) I took the bus to Siocon. It was pretty cramped and air cooled. So if someone shuts a window, there was less ventilation. And people were smoking n the bus. I know I shouldn't complain, I'm a smoker myself. I just have enough consideration for kids and non smokers in confined places. There were 6 of us riding at the backmost part of the bus and I was wedged in between this heavy set drunk and a father with a very fussy kid who kept moving and moving like a little wild animal. The drunk was leaning heavily on me, crushing me against the dad and the kid. So I gently pushed back. Kids, don't try this at home. Drunks are known to be violent when in their inebriated state. I felt him push back, So I squared myself up and acted as a barrier between him and the dad. To add a little bit more discomfort, I lodged my shoulder against his ribcage. Every bump we encountered must've been hell for him as he banged into my shoulder time and again. That was a 5 hour trip.
